Tips for the survival of shark-infested water:

Try not make too much splashing movement near the sharks.

If a shark should attack you, try to hit and punch it in its most sensitive areas: the snout and gill areas

Put up as much of a fight as possible!

There's never that much to know about surviving shark attacks, I mean, when someone is attacked by a shark, you will get nastily wounded and its really hard to know just what to do.

Air bladders have been used in a number of applications since the invention of synthetc rubber in the 1940's. Sharks have not shown any great disposition to domestication, and act almost exclusively on instinct. So they cannot be characterized as nice or not nice. They will feed or prey without any consideration of whether it is something or someone familiar.

There is no known ocean where sharks aren't around. Sharks play a main- role in the Eco- system and keep the food chain intact. Without them, there probably would be an overflow of bacteria, where no one would be able to swim in the ocean.

Sharks have been found in various rivers throughout the U.S. in places scientists had previously said sharks would never go. Thus, the possibility is always there that a shark, bull or otherwise, could make it into the Chicago River.

No. Very few shark species will attack a human unprovoked . Often, in stories one hears, a shark mistakes the figure of a human on a surf board for a seal. The best way to avoid sharks is to avoid splashing and not to cut yourself.
