Your Remington model 1900 double barrel shotgun was made from 1900-1910.There were only 98,475 shotguns made during this time frame and will be in the 300,000 block serial number range.A shotgun without ejectors will bring between 200-1,000 dollars for a shotgun showing between 10%-80% of it,s original finish on the wood and metal.A shotgun with ejectors will bring between 250-1,200 dollars for the same condition mentioned above.

It was easy to manufacture, and could be used for hunting a wide variety of animals from birds to bears.

The Remington model 31 pump action shotgun which was made from 1931-1949 will bring between 150-265 dollars for a plain barrel model with between 60%-90% overall condition.a solid rib model 31 will bring between 190-300 dollars,and a vent rib barrel model will bring between 210-320 dollars,using the criteria set forth on the plain barrel model.If you have a model 31 special(higher grade wood and checkered pistol grip stock) then the value will be between 275-385 dollars.

The bible for info. on older shotguns made by other than the big name manufactures is the "Golder Age Of Shotguning" by Bob Hinman. In the index of this book he lists literally hunderds of old brand name shotguns along with some info on the co. Unfortunatly all he has to say about a co. called the Utica Firearms Co. is "Hammer double-barrel. Nothing further known." He must have put an extreme amount of research into this obscure list of manufactures (and this was 30 to 40 years ago) and to have come up with "nothing further known" is not very incouraging. My guess is that this Utica Firearms Co. is the manufacture of your shotgun.

The value of ANY firearm- especially an antique, is based on exact make, model, variant and condition. Without ALL criteria, we could only say somewhere between $1 and $1000- which is really no answer. Unfortunately you will need a hands-on appraisal by a dealer that knows old Winchester guns.

I own one myself. It's a .22 caliber rimfire revolver, first made around 1925 with an octagonal barrel. The round barrel was introduced in 1938 and it was produced on and off again until the 70s. It's a decent solid frame revolver. Maybe depending on condition you could get a few hundred for one.

Ican say that the N.R.Davis arms Company was owned by Warner Arms Company at the time they merged with Cresent firearms Company.This was in 1931.I can say that your shotgun dates from the 1920,s.Before the merger.I cannot say the value of your shotgun without a more detailed description of it,s overall condition,including the amount of original finish remaining,bore condition,and amount of original blueing remaining also.
