well you just have to wait to see if you have your period or not my friend is about to start her period because she has stomach cramps all the time starting Thursday she had to use the restroom a lot and then Saturday i started my period so it is all about waiting.And yes you still get your period if your off or on the pill so be catiuse to it.
Every woman and every baby are different. Even for mother's who are pregnant with their second or fifth baby there are days that you don't really feel pregnant. At seventeen weeks you probably aren't feeling the baby move yet, or don't realize it if you are. I would suggest not to hide a pregnancy. It is not good for your or your baby. If you are overweight you don't show as early, if you are underweight you could start to show sooner. My friend is underweight and showed at about 6 or 7 weeks. A girl I went to high school with didn't tell her family until she was 6 months, by wearing baggy pants and sweatshirts..Since she was hiding it she didn't take prenatal vitamins, and get proper care for her and her baby. She was pregnant with twins, one died in her and the other was very sick at birth. Since the other child died in her months before, she got a horrible infection and almost died. For your sake, and your babies sake please don't hide it. Anyways, if you think someone will be upset that will give them more time to accept the baby.

Your breasts may be tender ( hence a little bigger) but in reality the pregnancy is probably a liitle bigger then the punctuation at the end of this sentence. You start to "show " usually in the second trimester.
