Theres nothing you can do to stop your parents from fighting/arguing. You can try and talk to them about why they have been doing it so much, maybe there is an issue going on. Try writing them a note explaining how uu feel and talk it out that way, but there is nothing you can do there going to do what they have to.

To torture your sister if your getting ready for school in the morning and your straightening your hair and she wants to stand in the place your standing pretend that you can't hear her and if someone walks into the room say"hey can you hear dogs" that should wownd them up

Revenge is never a good choice. Forgive him, it doesn't matter if he is not sorry for it. Forgiveness is not something we do for other but for ourselves, to be in peace with others. Only child you get spoiled and from personal experience because of being an only child we had enough money to send me to the college of my dreams so defineltly an only child!

This would vary from case to case. Based on things such as: how comfortable the parents feel about it, how mature the older sibling is, how mature the 10 year old is, and whether it is going to be a safe situation.

Many parents would feel very hesitant leaving a 16 year old alone overnight with a 10 year old sibling.

But, if the circumstances are right then things could work just fine. (OPINION) Personally, I would only feel comfortable leaving a teenager alone with another young child if I knew that there were trustworthy adults nearby, and only if I could get home in the case of an emergency or problem.

Other things could also play into a parent's comfort level on a decision such as this one. These things may include what type of neighborhood they live in, and weather conditions. If there was severe weather in the area many parents would not feel comfortable leaving a young teenagers, and a child home alone. Because in the event of a tornado, or possibly flooding then young teen might panic in such a high stress issue.

It would most likely be best to higher a trusted adult, or even request that a relative or neighbor watch the kids while the parents are away.

Try not to take it too personally. Most times moms are more critical of themselves than of their children and unfortunately take it out on their kids. Dont take bad insults too personally and remember that YOU know the real and true YOU. Chin up and dont ever let anyone tell you otherwise, even if it is your mom (who should really know better and should be ashamed of herself for throwing such hurtful comments). Hope that helps. :)

If you are a teenager, you can ask your neighbors or family friends that you can babysit their kids when they want to go out. If you have younger siblings, tell your parents you will babysit them for money.

You could also spread the word out through your friends and get babysitting jobs.

As to visitations, the half siblings have no rights. If their step mother chooses to keep her step children from visiting with her biological children there is not much they can do about it but wait until their half siblings are eighteen years of age. They can make contact at that time.

It sometimes seems like they are. My theory is they learn, not only from their mistakes, but also from their older siblings. If their older brother or sister didn't go to college (for instance) and they ended up stuck in a "go nowhere" job, then the younger sibling might decide to put more effort in their own future. And not just about college... if there are two girls, and the older one is most likely not going to care so much about fashion because she'll want to spend her time taking care of her little sister.
