Hen: Domesticity. Hens also predict the weather; if they gather on a mound and preen their feathers, rain is on the way. Also if it starts to rain watch your hens if the huddle under shelter, the rain will be of short duration, if they go out into it, the rain will last most of the day.

It depends on how you're asking it. I've read in a book once that when someone gives you lilies they represent death. If they're given to you by a past rival or current one then it's obviously not a good sign. If they're given to you by your own mother then obviously there isn't anything to fear. However, unless for some reason ur own mother is out to get you then that's something you should worry about.

Rosemary's Baby is a novel by Ira Levin and also a movie starring Mia Farrow. It is about a young couple who move into a new apartment in New York City. The husband (Guy) is a struggling actor. When Rosemary mysteriously becomes pregnant, she begins to suspect that her husband and her neighbors (the Castavets) are involved with witchcraft, and the blessing of her baby turns out to be less of a blessing after all... I highly recommend you read the book and/or see the movie.

One day, my sister and I were casually just sitting at our computer desk and playing games on the computer.. and suddenly a "red bird" hit the window in our room and fell dramatically, I thought it died.. so I went outside to check, and the bird was no where in sight. My sister and I weren't concerned, because birds hit windows all the time. 5 minutes later the SAME bird hit the exact window. It got a little bit creepy. I thought maybe this time it died. So I went again, and checked. Once again, no where in sight. Anyway, this bird kept hitting the window repeatedly the same window. And strange enough, it only hit the window when someone was in that room. It kept hitting the window for months and months. Finally I was really concerned, because it would hit the window so hard there was blood all over it! My dad could care less when he saw the bird keep hitting the window, nothing really bothered him. So finally I did some research on the Internet and found that if a red bird hits your window it's a sign of death or a spiritual presence is trying to get inside your home. I told my dad very cautiously, and warned him about this legend and he replied with "Don't believe in that crap". But I was extremely scared. But then, one day my dad was in the computer room sitting at the desk, and the bird hit the window again, to him it was nothing new. So he just walked out of the room casually and went downstairs to the basement, and he was standing by the window downstairs and the exact bird, hit the window. So it literally followed him downstairs from outside, when my father was inside.. My dad was actually scared..very scared. Now we were all VERY concerned. Well, the cardinal kept hitting the window in my fathers home. And he just died this year after the weird red bird superstition which according to my father "don't believe in that crap" when it actually seems true. R.i.p

There is no spiritual meaning that I know of, if that's what you mean. Coyotes adapt readily to human presence and habitation, so seeing them is nothing special--something akin to seeing a fox in Europe.

Very rare, i have two birds myself (overall 4 in my life) and they rarely fly into windows or mirrors maybe once when i first got them . When they do fly into a window or anything they learn their lesson not to and they don't do it again. They are actually very clever and somehow know where there is glass.

Clarification: The above mentioned belief is for a specific bird (the albatross) and it's being seen as a good omen when it "follows" ships. There is, to my knowledge, no omen connected with an unspecified wild bird actually landing on you. The good luck is in that you were lucky enough to be out in nature, and either still enough or patient enough for one of nature's creatures to land on you, otherwise, a bird landing on you is not an omen of any kind. SINCE wild birds do not generally land on humans, it is an attempt to draw your attention to the bird, which is trying to get you to think about it. Have seen this when spiritual people pass by. the "helper" birds will fly towards them. Often you will have an ancestral connection to this bird, or there is a spiritual message that is trying to reach you.
