What tissue is found in the medullary cavity of a long bone?

The composition of long bones is both spongy and compact bone. the long bone has at both ends a head or knob which is spongy bone (more holes, less sturdy). At the center of the knob or head called the epiphyses where red blood cells are produced. The epiphyses has what is known as an epiphyseal plate or growth plate in a transverse position and is made of cartilage. This plate can be measured in children to determine if hormone treatments are necessary to promote bone growth in children who might otherwise be below average in bone growth or development. The stick or shaft portion of long bones between the two epiphyses is known as the diaphysis. The diaphysis is hollow but its walls are made of compact bone (less holes, sturdier). In the hollow portion or medullary cavity as it's known of the diaphysis of long bones is where yellow marrow sits which can be converted to red marrow when the body has a deficit. Yellow marrow is yellow in color. On the ends of long bones you will find cartilage which serves to protect bones during movement.

How do to get knee whiter?

its not so hard to whiten your knees, but it may take a while. im Indian and we Indians have LOADS of home remedies for any type of skin problem like acne, black lips, knees, etc.

you can try the following:

mix equal proportions (ideally one tablespoon each) of honey, almond/coconut/olive oil and sugar (yes, SUGAR. trust me!). add half a table spoon of salt, and add a whole lemon to the mixture. the paste that you get is usually watery and may or may not smell good to you. i don't really mind the smell. to thicken the paste, you can add Bengal Gram Flour. if this isn't available, don't worry - you can use rice flower instead. if even this isn't available, don't try adding more sugar/salt - itll scratches you.

when you go for a shower, pour some of the mixture on your knees/elbows and massage them for five minutes each. i usually do this when i wash my hair. since i have to wait for five minutes after my conditioner has been applied, i do this. you should see a change as soon as youre out of the shower. if you don't, don't worry - it will work eventually.

here's another, much easier thing you can do, but its not as effective long term. cut a lemon in half and rub each half on one knee for ten minutes, or less. however, you must make sure you have applied moisturiser/lotion the previous night, or else the lemon will cause your skin to get dry. DONT APPLY MOISTURISER AND IMMEDIATELY USE LEMON.

use the first remedy once a week, and use any other body scrub on your knees. apply liberal amounts of lotion every night. if your knees are exposed, wear a sunscreen.

i hope this helps! good luck =)
