I'm afraid this is merely guesswork, but I suppose the Jonas Brothers WOULD have a broader range of appeal (I dislike both of them heartily). Between two hours of listening to the Jonas Brothers' infectious pop and one hour of listening to Slipknot's dreadful nu metal, I would still go for the Jonas Brothers (but is bailing out of a window an available option? I sure hope so!).

Actually, no, Slipknot did not cancel their 2009 tour. They only canceled a few dates due to the fact that drummer Joey Jordison (aka #1) took ill. The dates canceled were the remaining dates in August (starting from 8/22) and all dates in September.
