I would say that it depends on the quality of the ball and signature. If it looks good, and it is authentic, I would say $1000 would be reasonable, as he died in 1954, so there isn't much memorabilia around. He was one of the best players of all-time, although most casual fans don't seem to recognize his contributions (he even seems overshadowed by his long-time teammate and 500+ HR hitter J. Foxx, though I would have taken Al over him any day if I had to choose). I think the best Al Simmons autographs would be on legitimate documentation (letters with accompanying post-marked envelopes, canceled bank checks, etc.), but a good signed ball would be marketable too, for the right buyer.

All pool balls are quiet until they collide with another ball. This happens only for a very brief fraction of a second during the typical pool shot.
Pool balls cannot be made of any other material that will change the sound they make on impact, so they cannot be quieter than they already are.

You did not mention who else appears on the Multi signed baseball. The value of multi signed baseballs cannot be priced by the value of each signature added up. Multi signed baseballs are valued as a group of signatures, and how desired that group is as a whole. This does not necessarily mean that two signatures will sell for less than one, but in most cases it does, or at least not the full value of the two signatures added up.
