What is the value of a baseball autographed by Al Simmons?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I would say that it depends on the quality of the ball and signature. If it looks good, and it is authentic, I would say $1000 would be reasonable, as he died in 1954, so there isn't much memorabilia around. He was one of the best players of all-time, although most casual fans don't seem to recognize his contributions (he even seems overshadowed by his long-time teammate and 500+ HR hitter J. Foxx, though I would have taken Al over him any day if I had to choose). I think the best Al Simmons autographs would be on legitimate documentation (letters with accompanying post-marked envelopes, canceled bank checks, etc.), but a good signed ball would be marketable too, for the right buyer.

What is the value of a t-shirt autographed by professional paintballers?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The price of the autographed shirt depends on four factors:

  • How famous the celebrity is e.g. Is the celebrity a radio broadcaster, Hollywood star.
  • The age of the shirt (the older the better).
  • Is the star deceased (which skyrockets the price if he/she is!)
  • And what condition is the shirt in.

If The star is a radio broadcaster, TV presenter or small time movie star the shirt would be approximately $75-$100AUD or if he/she is deceased $100-$150AUD if the shirt is damaged deduct $15AUD if the shirt is older than 30 years add $50AUD.

If it is a Hollywood actor, double the prices except if the actor is deceased then you triple the prices.

Is there such thing as quiet billiard balls?

User Avatar

Asked by Ataraxic

All pool balls are quiet until they collide with another ball. This happens only for a very brief fraction of a second during the typical pool shot.

Pool balls cannot be made of any other material that will change the sound they make on impact, so they cannot be quieter than they already are.

What is the price of a Mickey Mantle signed baseball?

User Avatar

Mickey Mantle Multi Signed Baseball

A Mickey Mantle single signed baseball is worth about $400.-$600.

Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. Add for inscriptions.

You did not mention who else appears on the Multi signed baseball. The value of multi signed baseballs cannot be priced by the value of each signature added up. Multi signed baseballs are valued as a group of signatures, and how desired that group is as a whole. This does not necessarily mean that two signatures will sell for less than one, but in most cases it does, or at least not the full value of the two signatures added up.
