If the head of the screw is stripped out, you can purchase a damaged screw remover at a hardware store. If it is the actual wood in the screw hold in the stock that is stripped I would suggest drilling it out to a suitable diameter. Then take a dowel rod and cut a plug, Make sure it fits snuggly. Wood Glue it and clamp it in then after it sets overnight drill and tap it out and you should be good to go, don't over tighten it to avoid stripping it out again.

What is the age and value of a 22 caliber Ithaca X-15 Lightning rifle serial 26661-B?
The only information that I can give you is I bought one new in 1963 and paid $60.00 for it. I have shot thousands and thousands of rounds through it and it has performed flawlesley.
Ithaca X-15's were mfg from 1964-1967. They were the predcessor of the X-5 mfg from 1958-1964.
Unfortunately the ATF has all the records (i.e. serial numbers) for several of the older Ithaca models and specific year ID is next to impossible or to determine how many were mfg.
In VG to EX condition they are currently worth $180 - $250 if you have the original factory clip. It will have "Ithaca" stamped on the bottom.
That is the date a patent covering some feature of the gun was issued, not the date it was manufactured. This date may be found on several shotguns made by J Stevens Arms and Tool Company and its later operations as J Stevens Arms, Stevens/Savage, and Savage, so about all we can say about its age is that it was made sometime between 1900 and 1991. Almost any Stevens single shot made after 1900 is worth between $25 rusted or busted and $100 like new.

What is the age of a tube-fed 22 caliber Springfield Model 66B bolt action rifle?
The Stevens/springfield 66B rifles were made from 1935-1948.The slightly
better grade 066 was produced at the same time, being diferentiated by a peep/aperture sight on the receiver and a hooded front sight. This rifle should not be confused with its numerical predesessor the Stevens No.66
which was made from 1931-1935. The older rifle used,if pictorial evidence is factual, a different bolt, also ,the older No.66 had finger grooves on the forearm and the newer 66B and 066 had a black forearm tip painted on which is usually quite faded and worn,This black tip was on a number of other Stevens/Springfield models and "house"brands made by them such as Sears "Ranger" and others. The lack of Serial No.'s makes it hard to date any closer but a knowledgeable collector may know of ways to tell.
