Initially there were 5 beaches and each beach was assigned a division to secure it. After the beaches were secured three Allied Armies were brought into France to begin the drive to Berlin. Additionaly 3 allied airborne divisions kept reinforcements away from the beachheads. Each division was assigned a destroyer to provide close in support directly on the beach. Allied Air Bombing was ineffectual due to the bombadiers releasing their bombs late, scared of committing friendly fire.

Not Anymore. I recently downloaded AVP 2 for my mac however since I have a newer version mac, powerpc is no longer supported. If you have a mac that was made like 3 to 4 years ago, then you have a chance of still having powerpc running. Hope this helps :D

Lag can have a variety of causes, but it does mean that something is dealing with more information than it can handle. It could be your PC, get more RAM or a better video card (look for one that comes with its own dedicated RAM), it could be the game server, ask around, if other people in other areas are all having the problem then there is very little you can do. It could be your connection. COnsider upgrading to a faster connection, check to make certain than no one using your connection is downloading big files or get a faster router if you are playing on a LAN. Also, check to be certain that you aren't running any other programs at the same time that are also using your RAM. Hope this helps!

Space Construction Vehicle.

Basically stacking cannons involves tricking the game into not knowing that you can't build somewhere by making wherever you are building invisible to the game. Sunken colonies can no longer be stacked on one another, neither can most units. The only ones that can still stack are worker units such as the drone or probe, but getting them to attack while stacked requires a special trick.

The Battle Tag is essentially a Username for battle.net which will first be used in the Diablo 3 game.

Additional Information: The Battletag is essentially another version of Blizzards Battle.net Real ID friend. The major difference is that it will use a tag that YOU choose + 4 random numbers on the end of it. For example, you could have majorpwnage#1234, majorpwnage being the tag you choose and #1234 being a random number that Battle.net assigns to you.

The system is meant for in-game friends to talk cross server and cross game without giving out your email, while the Real ID system is meant for real world friends and people you know really really well.

While it is first being introduced in Diablo 3, it will eventually go to Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft. An announcement of when WoW and Starcraft 2 functionality will be implemented has not been forthcoming as yet. It is said that in WoW the functionality will be the same as Real ID (instances, old raids, battlegrounds).

Well, you can't. The computer choose it for you. It's not like Warcraft III. However you can change your in game colors.

shift+tab once changes the minimap colors to allies: yellow, yourself: green, opponents: red

shift+tab twice changes the minimap colors AND in game colors to the above

Shift +Tab again will reset to original.

TERRAN STRATEGY: first get 8 scvs mining minerals and take 1 to build a refinery. build 2 more to mine vespene. now work up the tech tree and build a ghost and nuclear silo build a nuke and take the cloaked ghost to the enemy base nuke there and go back. get 2 seige tanks to clean up and then 12 battle cruisers with yomato to finish.

ZERG STRATEGY: zergs are hard to use but get alot of miners (11) and 4 on vespene build creep colonys by the bunch and convert to sunkens and spores in a pattern. now when your base is defended purchase zerglings and hydralisks to be a mobile defense group. take 8 mutalisks and convert to guardians or devourers (BROOD WAR) no attack the enemy base. a second hatchery is recommended also climb the tech tree and get the hive

PROTOSS STRATEGY: these guys need alot of vespene so build the assimilator ASAP this really helps. take a nexus with 10 mineral miners and 5 vespene miners protoss is slow with vespene. now with a probe buy a forge and when that is finished pruchase a lot of photon cannons they need to be grouped. once you gaon the ability to make scouts arbiters high templars and carriers do so.5 scouts 3 carriers 2 arbiters and 10 archons (Requires 2 high templars for 1 archon) this is a very expensive attack. now send those to enemy bases to wreak havoc.

NOTE FOR ALL RACES: do not neglect research always purchase the research for all races terran zerg and protoss hope this helped

You Can only download map off multiplayer (multiplayer servers were switched off in 2006) not off the internet it wont work. So basically you cant download SC1 maps.
