First and foremost: REST!!!!! Sleep as much as you can! Stay in bed! Have someone help you if you can. And don't try to be all "heroic" and drag in to work or school. That isn't strong, it's stupid. Not to mention inconsiderate because you can pass it on to others.

I myself have a striped throat. I find that though swallowing does hurt, juices help the pain a bit. Also I would recomend seeing a docteur for medication. Further more gargaling with warm water and salt help to heal it. AND YOU NEED TO SLEEP A LOT
