if you took 14mg or so of kalatopin(or any benzo like xanax) in the last few days than you have no way of clearing the benzos out of your system in 3 days. Suboxone will not show up on normal drugs screen, it has it's own test which is very expensive and rarely ever used. I wouldn't worry about the suboxone. But you are screwed with the kalatopin. Sorry for the bad news. I would get a friends clean urine and try sneak that in, I do this all the time. Message me if you need some tips on urine substitution, I have a lot tricks for it. I have just started Suboxone a week ago I started on 4mg and went up to 8mg yesterday and myself personally have found it does NOT impair my ability to drive and I am a truck driver. I'm on this medication because of an accident at work and I began taking percs and than moved up to oxys now there trying to fire me over it what a bunch of jerk offs but any ways suboxone may effect your body differently than mine. For drug tests you should have all the info ready for them the drug your doc's name perscription to prove it is prescribed pretty much just prove you are taking it legitamately and you should receive a negative drug. this is a life changing drug I'm drug free and my pain level has come down to a manageable level for every day life but I have an extremely physical job so that's a different story. Suboxone is basically used to alleviate withdrawals from opiates, I.E. percocet, heroin. It has never got me high or impaired, no matter what quantity I ingested. And I know, because I actually tested it and swallowed 10 - 2mg pills, to see what would happen. Absolutely nothing. Yet, unfortunately when I got down to 1 - 2mg pill per day, and then stopped taking them all together, a day later I still had horrible withdrawals. BEWARE...Suboxone is more addictive than Percocet, and it does not even get you high. It now comes in an 8 mg "breath mint type" strip. I have cut that strip into 16 smaller strips , to ease off gradually. So basically each piece was only 1/2 mg. I thought after that last 1/2 mg strip, my usage would be over. NO WAY. I went one day without any, and the next day I was doubled over with a painfull stomach that was just as horrible as any withdrawal I had. It did not subside until I obtained another strip (on the streets), and put a 1/2 mg back into my system. Way hard to get off of. I fear I may have to endure a full cold turkey withdrawal before I am finally clean.

No, the Oxycontin will still be in your system. But it depends how heavy of an oxy user you are. if you only do it a few times a month, the drug will be out of your system within a few days. Suboxone simply blocks the opiod receptors in your brain, so that even if you were to take an Oxycontin some time after using suboxone, you won't feel the effects of the oxy. It'll just be a waste.

Oxycontin (oxycodone) is just a stronger version of Vicodin (hydrocodone), so yes, you can mix them together. Just be very careful not to take too much and overdose.

Well, it is obviously different for you than it is most people. I have been taking Suboxone for a year, and I certainly do not get high from it. I am at 8 mg per day. I never feel high from it. I don't know anyone who feels high from Suboxone.

The first day I took it I felt good, but I am pretty sure that is only because I was in withdrawal before I took it and it got me well.........it definitely did not feel anything like Oxy's.

I was pulled over one time and searched (for no reason) and the cop found a few suboxone 8mg pills in my pocket not in the bottle and he arrested me even though I had a legitimate prescription. I was acquitted of the charge when I produced the prescription in court later but I lost the job I had because of the "pending felony." Just get a prescription , they are very easy to come by. they will want to know where you got it from. be honest even if you got it illegally, they will treat you. if you got it from another doctor they will call this doctor and discuss how they are now treating you or they will call your pharmacy and find out how you have been getting it. you might get flagged and all doctors will know which clinic is treating you, so then only there can you get it.

Suboxone will not but the methadone will show as an opiate. I would give the methadone a good four days to get out but keep taking your suboxone so you dont get sick. i have been on probation taking u.a.'s for about a year and have been on suboxone for the same amount of time. I take a sub the morning of my test and it shows clean everytime. just quit the methadone and you will be fine!

Yes you can. Actually even if you had a really bad habit and you just took your 8Mg Suboxone, i would say 8 - 12 hours later you can safely take opiates again. This also depends on how your takin the opiate. If your snorting (or shooting, obviously) then i would suggest waiting a little longer, if your taking the pill orally then you can take it earlier, because it will still have a while before it breaks down and the drug gets through your system. I've never experienced real withdrawls or the withdrawals suboxone gives you, and I'm thankful for that. I love painkillers, but suboxone is definitely a great answer to opiate addiction. Who in the world are you? And who told you all of your information about suboxone? Because you are so bad wrong! Ultram is not an opiate - you can take it anytime. And as for as waiting 8 hours and taking an opiate, why even take suboxone? However I have been one suboxone for about 2 weeks, and I had to get a tooth pulled, and the doctor gave me lortabs, and i cant even tell you how crappy i felt afterwards. Try to get all medical problems taken care of before you start suboxone, because its not worth a crap for pain. Hope this will help, it's the real truth!

My husband was addicted to pain pills and heroin, so I put him in rehab and they gave him this "wonder drug" to "help" him with getting sober and with the pain. Four years later, he finally wants to be free from this addiction, and now it is worse than getting off of the other crap! I'm talking 2 seizures in the past year! Wonder drug? Be very careful! This is just another addiction. Just get sober without it! You're better off and I know that my husband regrets his choice to stay on this drug. It's not a miracle, it's a nightmare!

Ultram, or Tramadol, while an opiate agonist, does not behave exactly like an opiate. I could find no information on whether or not tramadol and buprenorphine would have a higher affinity than the other for the same receptors. Nonetheless, one can follow buprenorphine with another opiate without precipitating withdrawals. But because buprenorphine has a higher binding affinity, the closer you take an opiate to your Bupe dose, the less effective it will be. You should wait at least twenty-four hours, or until the effects of the bupe wear off, to receive the maximum effect of another opiate.

On the other hand, you cannot follow other opiates with buprenorphine, because buprenorphine is an agonist/antagonist. And because of it's higher affinity, it will dislodge other opiates from your receptors, precipitating withdrawals. Therefore, you must wait for other opiates to clear your system - twenty-four to thirty-six hours - before taking bupe.

Buprenorphine is a pain reliever, and is considered to be about half as effective a morphine.

Buprenorphine is not a "wonder drug". It is merely, like methadone, a legal substitute for other opiates that the government has deemed illegal. Buprenorphine satisfies the moralistic impulses of the prohibitionists because it produces very little in the way of euphoria, and it effectively blocks the effects of other opiates which do produce euphoria. But, in terms of addiction, almost all opiates, (all opiate agonists), are interchangeable in that they will all prevent withdrawals.

If you need to take another opioid pain medication, you can simply stop taking buprenorphine, assuming that the dose of the pain medication is equivalent, or greater than, your buprenorphine dose. Google "opioid equivalency chart" to get an idea of this.

If you take another opiate for more than three or four days, you will have to transition back to buprenorphine by waiting until the other opiates clear your system. Again, at least twenty-four hours.

If you have the standard 8mg Suboxone, try cutting it into quarters. Take one quarter of Suboxone and wait about one hour. If you still feel crappy, try taking another quarter. Suboxone is strong, effective stuff! I was addicted to 80-120mg of Oxycontin and one quarter of Suboxone completely melted away my withdrawal symptoms.

I just recently took this test i have been taking suboxene for three months i also was taking pills and coke a week before. 1st off i passed the test they dont test for it. Unless its a drug program .and if you did any other drugs like pills or heron or coke it takes three days to get out ur system.but i played it safe and drank plenty of water cranberry juice and a shot of apple cider vinegar to clean out my system.it works every time;) get a quart wonton container from like the chinese restaurant ones and drink at least three of those a day or until ur urine is clear but also take vitamins so it puts color in ur urine the cranberry juice in between. The water and a shot of apple cider vinegar only once a day until u take the test. Hope that this is helpfull .
