It should say right on the strip either 2mg or 8mg. If it doesn't, then it might not be real because I'm pretty sure they only have one manufacturer of the suboxone films.

You decrease your dosage very slowly, over an extended period of time (at least a few weeks, but more like a few months). The slower you do it, the easier it will be. For example, if you are on 16 mgs a day (two 8 mgs pills), take 14 mgs on Sunday, 16 on Monday, 16 on Tuesday, 16 on Wednesday, 14 on Thursday, 16 on Friday, 16 on Saturday, 16 on Sunday, 14 on Monday... In other words, take your regular dose, 16 mgs, three days in a row, and on the fourth day take 14 mgs.

Then, after a few weeks, start taking 14 on Sunday, 16 on Monday, 16 on Tuesday, 14 on Wednesday (16 mgs for two days, then 14 mgs on the third day).

After a few weeks of that, start taking 14 mgs every other day: 14 on Sunday, 16 on Monday, 14 on Tuesday, etc., etc.

After a few weeks of that, you can start going down from 14 mgs to 12 mgs, and so on and so on.

the half life of suboxone is 36 hours. So 72 hours would eliminate the suboxone from you entirely. But depending on your dose you could have oxycodone work sooner. Example if your mu receptors are not filled (2mg suboxone or below). But all in all you will have to wait a full two days before the oxycodone will work to your satisfaction, to my expierence.

My Dr told me 24 hours but it was way too soon. I threw up every 10 min and didn't eat or sleep for 2 days. It will be painful but I would wait 3 or 4 days because methadone has such a long half life. The withdrawals for those few days are nothing compared to take the sub to early!

The regular protocol is typical which is one 8MG Suboxone in the morning and one 8MG later in the afternoon. After the first 24 hours just about all of the Roxicodone will be neutralized and out of the system and have no effect.

I definitely WOULD NOT! suboxone is an opiate blocker and when taken within less than 48 hours ANY other opiate (though many doctors would say 72 hours) can cause you to experience immediate withdrawal symptoms! i made the mistake once....and you can be sure it wont happen again.

i don't think it would because it's a separate test to test for suboxone, even if they do test for it i don't think they could claim you're unfit based just on the fact that you're taking suboxone (as long as you have a script for it.) addiction is a disability, and you're taking medication to treat your disease. but since dyfs has some really screwed up people, if you can, don't take it for a few days (as long as you can really) before the test just to be safe. i would rather it not show up at all if it were me. good luck. seriously. i remember how those c*nts can be.

Its different for everyone. I know one girl who can take a 4-8mglarger suboxone and less than 12 hours later be blitzed from an 80mg80mg oxy. For me I have to wait 3-4 days and still end up having to take at least 2-3 80mg oxys to feel the same effect as one 80mg oxy normally (normally meaning a month or more with no suboxone).

Suboxone is an "opioid." If someone sets his machine up to detect suboxone, it's going to list it as an opiate.

Usually, after about 36 hours, you will be able to feel the heroin a little bit, but you won't be able to get a full-blown heroin high for about 48 to 72 hours. Since it seems that you aren't taking Suboxone regularly, however, the amount of time you have to wait will probably be a bit shorter.
