No, the drug itself does not "cause" sugar cravings however your body could be trying to replicate that "high" one would get from opiates and sugar consumption as well as caffeine becomes another "addiction". This is also another reason why people seem to gain weight on suboxone.

In all honesty, you shouldn't snort ANY pills. If you are on suboxone, then you are on it for a reason (ie you are an addict, you have been on opiates legally for an extended period of time, etc), and you should not counter act it. Snorting any crushed pills is a good way to get a deviated septum or other rather nasty nasal disorders, including cancer!

depends on your body. most people will get technical and say "36 hour half life; blah blah." but actually if you've been on suboxone for awhile it could take up to 4-5 days(i know from experience). if you only took it once or twice than you should be ok after 24 hours. subutex will also block regular opiates because the buprenorphine has the highest affinity rate of ALL opioids. nalaxone isn't even the main reason you cant get high on suboxone; when suboxone is taken sublingually the bioavailability of nalaxone is almost nill. happy poppin' friends.

i have been on suboxone (legally prerscribed) for a year and a half. i am in a drug court in pa. apparently there was a whole bunch of kids that looked high and were passing the gcms urine tests. it was then brought to the judge's attention that they were high but not on benzo's or opiates. so they were tested for suboxone and failed. To specifically answer your question the answer is NO!!!!. Employment, probation, drug court, whatever. they do not test levels. its too expensive. All they care about is if you are using or not. The only time anyone tests levels is (a): when a person is suspected of overdose in an ER, or (b) its a doctor sending out a script to test levels in the blood for theraputic purposes, i.e. Depakote.
