Suboxone cannot be obtained without a prescription because it is a controlled substance. Therefore, you cannot purchase Suboxone "over the counter" at CVS or any other pharmacy.

No, Suboxone is an opiate, in the same class as opium, heroin, morphine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, methadone, codeine, etc.

If you are going to a Doctor for help, the Doctor WILL try and help you. However, you need to tell the Doctor EVERYTHING that you are doing. It is OK to do this because whatever you say to your doctor is treated as strictly private. If you tell your Doctor everything then he/she will be able to help you, if you withhold vital information it is possible that what the Doctor does to try and help you could end up harming you.

personally, i think suboxone makes them better. but if you don't get a speed from suboxones, like if they effect you like a downer does, then they could just cancel each other out. nothing bad happens either way, so its atleast worth a try.

Suboxone is a combination of two medications.

The first mediation is 'Naloxone' an antagonist or opiod blocker used to counter the effect of opiates including opioid overdose.

The second medication is 'Buprenorphine' a semi synthetic opioid (synthetic narcotic analgesic) used for pain varying from acute to chronic.

Considering how the two different drugs are absorbed into the body, the Naloxone is put in the mix to keep a user from being able to get high via injection or sniffing Suboxone.

The highest concentration of narcotic can be absorbed by the body only via route of medically recommended administration which is sub-lingual (keeping the pill under the tongue till it completely dissolves.)

Suboxone is no more popular of a recreational drug in Europe as it is in the United States. However, it's reported that the narcotic in suboxone (Buprenorphine) is highly abused in areas of Europe just as Heroin is abused in certain areas of the USA.

So much misinformation going around on Suboxone/Buprenorphine.

For one,the naloxone does nothing even when snorted or injected.

Buprenorphine has a higher affinity to the opiate receptors than naloxone does.

Secondly,Buprenorphine is actually a very powerful substance.

Despite it being a partial agonist[and partial antagonist] it is a very effective and can produce very strong efffects just like other opiods/opiates.

If your tolerance is TOO HIGH than you cant really get high on Buprenorphine[or buprenrphine containing formulations] but if your tolerance to opiates is mild to small and under than you can indeed get high on it.

I take it everyday via snorting and sometimes IV when im low.

Snorting gets me the highest.I only ijject it whn I need to conserve my small amount thats left.

Also,Buprenorphine is most effective at lower dosages.

DOCTORS OVERPRESCRIBE SUBOXONE JUST LIKE THEY DO METHADONE!

WHEN I HAD A 300MLG/daily ORAL MORPHINE HABIT OR 80mlg+/daily OXYCODONE[ANY FORM] HABIT SNORTING A 2MLG PIECE OF SUBOXONE OR SUBUTEX WOULD BE ENOUGH TO TAKE AWAY MY WITHDRAWLS COMPELTELY FOR A FULL 24 HOURS AND EVEN CAUSE ME TO SLIGHTLY FEEL GOOD TOO.

That was 4 years ago or so.

Now I take suboxone daily at the 0.5mlg-1.0mlg dosage nasally.

I get high EVERYTIME.And when I dont have it,I do withdraw but its not nearly as bad as full opiate agonist withdrawls.

Still sucks but it is much milder and longer lasting.

When you get up to high dosages the withdrawls will become worse.

That is why their is much bad rep going around sometimes about suboxone withdrawl.

People are taking too much is one of the reasons,the other reason which is much less common i think,is some people are just being crybabies when they start feeling a mild withdrawl.

Its not that bad at low dosages.Still sucks like I said but not nearly as bad.

Also,if you are someone who takes Suboxone/Buprenorphine for recreation,potentiators such as diphenhydramine are VERY good for inducing a stronger effect.

But becareful and be safe.

Warm water and slight pressure from what I've read, kind of rub it in until it absorbs. I just wait it out, it should go away in a day or so.

there is only slight difference in mode of action.naloxone is pure antagonist of morphine or better say mu receptorand naltrixone block mu receptor but it is also having keppa agonistic activity so less proffered.

Suboxone coverage by insurance plans such as "Care Oregon" and "Family Care" plan require a prior authorization (PA) process. Some insurance plans does not require this process to fill the medication but you will need to speak to your insurance to see if your medication requires the PA process. Doctors are also very cautious prescribing controlled substances and dealing with the whole PA process is a headache for all parties invovled (including the Pharmacists, Doctor, and Patient).

Suboxone does not show up on a Urine test unless they specifically look for suboxone in your urine and the only reason they would do that is if they suspect that you are on something or used to be on something and even in most cases unless your going to be a cop or work for the FBI. they don't look for it. Suboxone fills only 2 out of the three receptors in your brains opiate receptors which are enough to keep you out of withdraw and take most of the cravings away and not be dected on a urine test, if you where to get tested for suboxone which i never heard of depeneds on how long you have been taking it, short term like a week or so , it would be out of your system no less than 48 hours with a half life of 24hrs. longer than a months your looking at 72hours unfortuantly.My fiance is a pharmicist and i read this information out of this special program that only pharmisicts and doctors use.So unless here program is wrong, which is doubtful that's your answer

i have been takeing xanax and suboxen together for almost 2 years now and I'm doing just fine I think if any one abuses there xanax with any other pain pill it will kill u but I do not abuse my medacation I take my xanax only when haveing an anxiety attack now there wanting to take me off of my xanax and I'm afrade to do with out them that could kill me.

Yes, even a small dose will block the high you normally get from heroin. Adding heroin to Suboxone can have a dangerous additive effect. Many people have died from trying to get high while on a replacement drug.

After getting off of 20 mgs of Methadone, a person would need to wait 72 hours before taking any Suboxone. This should ultimately be left up to your doctor, though.

I take suboxine to help with withdraw from oxy! Just let it desolve under you tongue. But I heard to not take it till u just can't stand the withdraw anymore

as far as i know since suboxone is a man made opiate it will not show under the opiate category for drug use i would know because i take them and get drug tested, opiate is always negative. unfortunately Valium stays in your system for a while... i believe three of it's half lives.

yes bupremorphine is a semi-synthetic opioid that when it comes into contact with the brains opiate receptors, instead of bouncing rapidly in and out like pure opiates such morphine (heroin) , oxycontin, and lortab, bupremorhpine docks and saturates the receptor without bouncing in and out. Its stationary nature in the receptor is why if any other opiates are taken with bupremorphine just bounce off the receptor and flush harmlessly out of the system. Never take any opiates with bupremorphine.

if you're at a low dose of methadone (5-10mg) i'd say 36-72hours.. if you're at a higher dose (15-30mgs) then definantly 72+hours.. If you're taking more then 30mgs of methadone daily don't even attempt to take suboxone without atleast giveing it 3-4 days, or else you'll get percipitated w/d, worse then normal wd's! i'm sorry, i didnt even realize what the question was! whew! i need to lay off this crack!!
