After stopping suboxone how long does it take to get high?
If you are taking Suboxone, chances are it is to detox off of, or safely maintain an opiate addiction. A doctor and/or a fellow recovering addict would of course tell you stay on the Sbx, switch to methadone, or stay clean altogether BUT If it is your intent to get high again you should be able to do so when the buprenorphine clears your opiate receptors in around 48 hours. BE AWARE YOU ARE TAKING A BIGGER RISK THAN NORMAL using dope right after Sbx. because the "shot" size that you used before is not going to necessarily the right one now making the possibility of O.D.'ing very real DO NOT use the Suboxone IV, there is Narcan in it for just that reason and will make you "sick".
If you have Suboxone left over, in the interest of damage-control for you and society, SAVE IT. If it comes down to steeling, "tricking', or worse to get your dope USE THE SUBOXONE INSTEAD to keep you from getting "sick".

If you take 6 8mg suboxone will you be high?
No. The maximum dose of Suboxone you can take is 32 milligrams (four 8-mg pills). Taking any more than that will have no effect, so don't even bother.
Please hear me out as a recovering pain killer addict and current suboxone patient... I am going to go out on a short limb here and say that I am almost certain you are in some sort of recovery program yourself if you are taking suboxone and if not you are probably an addict who needs one. The answer to your question is most certainly no. Especially if you are in recovery and properly taking suboxone for that reason under the supervison of a doctor. God knows it sucks to go through wthdraw even for a few hours much less a couple of days but I promise you if you can get through till Monday without relapsing it will be better for you phsyically and psychologically. If suboxone is all you are currently taking then your withdrawl will be very mild compared to the withdrawl of Oxycontin or lortab. It is no were as bad as you remember and if you stay strong I promise you can make it till Monday. Another problem I wish to address is why you ran out of your suboxone early... since I do not know the cercustances I will not speculate on that but if you happen to run out because you may not be taking it correctly well be very careful with that too my friend, because that can cause lots of problems ranging from getting kicked off your suboxone doctor to gettng into the habit of just using suboxone as a filler for when you run out of the narcotics you really want. Can you take acid reducer with a suboxone?
A Walgreen's pharmacist said that it is fine to take acid reducers such as Lansoprazole with Suboxone. There are no known contraindications.

How long does it take to detox off suboxone?
About a week usually. Suboxen (actually its called Suboxone) is a miracle drug. It all depends on you really. In a rehab they will have you take Suboxone everyday, gradually reducing the mg until your off of it. Which some people do for two weeks, a month or more. I think that is unnecessary though. Taking just one Suboxone will help with your entire detox. But what I have done in the past is just take one every time I feel sick. Usually that's every other day, and that ends up being only 6 days. Really it depends on if your willing to feel just a little bit sick. If you need to get clean fast then just take one, then wait and if you feel REALLY bad again take another. You should be clean in no time.
I have been on cocaine and pain killers for about 8 years now and i take a quarter piece of suboxone a day(2 mgs) and it helps with the pain and sickness.

suboxone attaches itself to the opiod receptors and actually have a long halflife (meaning they stay in the system for a while) and what it will do is you pretty much are wasting your money on anything opiate wise because since something from the suboxone is already attached to your opiate receptors nothing else can attach themselves to them. This also causes someone that already has opiates in their system to pretty much go into full withdraws within minutes, because the suboxone wipes off your opiate receptors.
Does suboxone have naltraxon in it?
No. Suboxone does not have naltrexone in it. Suboxone is the trade name for the mixture of buprenorphine and naloxone in a 4 to 1 ratio. Buprenorphine is a partial agonist at the opioid receptor. Naloxone is an antagonist or "blocker" of the same receptor. Naltrexone is an opioid receptor antagonist used primarily in the management of alcohol dependence and opioid dependence.
Soboxone normally takes 72 hours to get out of your system normally, BUT if you have Hepatitis then it can take longer for it (or any other drug) to get out of your system.
I'm not quite sure what you mean. if he had no drugs in jail then yes he would have withdrawn. suboxone is used so you do not withdraw so when he took that he should have been fine. and of course when you use h again you are fine. as far as withdrawals go anyway.

There is no name for generic Suboxone bacause there are no available generic brands for it yet in Canada or the USA. I hear they're working on some in Australia where the drug was first released but no info on anything in reach. Hope this was helpful, Suboxone is very expensive but it works wonders. Much better than Methadone but Methadone is a much cheaper option, only $6 a day in comparison to Suboxone which is anywhere from $20- $30 depending on where it is dispensed from.

don't take any sedatives, tranquillizers,anxiety meds pain medication or antihistamines while on suboxone.. ie. xanax ,kolonopin,valium, rx sleep aids, you can easily overdose on these and it can KILL YOU.. avoid alcohol also, alcohol sneaks up on you fast with suboxone. you can go from mild buzz after a few beers to stumbling and blacking out combine with vomiting and possibly death.. even if you can normally drink heavy on suboxone your tolerance is so low it's not smart to drink. above all ask a doctor before taking anything rx, herbal or over the counter with suboxone. be safe
Suboxone and Klonopin can cause death or no?
I suppose so, if you take massive doses of them, but not if you're taking a normal dose. I was prescribed klonopin for alcohol withdrawal, while I was taking Suboxone.

Can you get a high from buprenorphine hydrochloride?
When I was in rehab most of the people there were being treated with buprenorphine hydrochloride (we called it Suboxone). I got "high" off 4mg of it and so did a female patient as well. Our eyes were glazed over and everyone else could tell. The others said that it didn't make them feel anything except not dope sick. It wasn't intense just a nice feeling of well being. So to answer your question maybe 1 in 10 got high off a 4mg dose. I would assume more would have gotten high at larger doses. I have been told that with maintenance therapy the high goes away.

Can you take gravol and suboxone at same time?
You can take opioids such as morphine and diamorphine with a low dose of dimenhydrinate (Gravol), but dimenhydrinate's active metabolite, diphenhydramine, is a CNS depressant; therefore, the combination of opioids and H1 receptor antagonists -being 1st generation antihistamines and other anticholinergic drugs- can definately increase the respiratory depression associated with opioid analgesics.
Methadone and dimenhydrinate is particularily more dangerous than most opioid combinations, this is because of the cumulative effect that methadone is notorious for, as well as methadone's high rate of respiratory depression.
Now, with buprenorphine, the active component in Suboxone, your respiratory depression rate is significantly less than with most other opioids because of the ceiling effect.
In light of these factors, my answer would be that it would be relatively safe to take a small dosage of dimenhydrinate with Suboxone.
The dosage taken would be relative to your dose of Suboxone.
Combining sedative/depressant drugs is never necessarily safe, however, if you know how your body reacts to the drugs in question, and you are sure that you are taking doses within your safety-range, then buprenorphine and dimenhydrinate can be a very safe combination despite their synergy of effects.
An example of a safe dosage in my scenario is as follows, I currently take 8mg Suboxone SL/PO daily and often safely take 25mg-50mg dimenhydrinate with multiple doses of GABAergic herbals through the day. Sometimes these doses taken with a few glasses of wine before bed.
Remember that Suboxone is very potent, 8mg being equal to a daily dose of 120mg morphine. Base your judgement on knowledge of the chemicals as well as your own body and always be safe.
