SPECULATION was wild when she sang that song (Stay) at the CMA's instead of then new single Everyday America. At the time it was believed to be a message sent at the expense of national television exposure to promote Everyday America. Stay is a beautiful song but not very radio friendly because of the acoustic highs and lows of the ballad.
Supposedly when the song was written it was third person. Because of the emotional reaction in the video one would have to ask is there something now that has made this song very first person for Jen?
