What is the difference between self-tinting sunglasses and polarized sunglasses?
Polarized sun glass lenses are made to neutralize the effect of glare. A 'glare' is caused when the sun's shining rays reflect off a solid surface or water. A 'glare' is typically horizontally polarized. And the lenses are made of vertical polarizes so that they will effectively neutralize the villainous glare!
Advantages of Polarized Sunglasses: Polarized sunglasses are specially made for reducing the harmful effects of glare and eye-damaging light. And they are a perfect boon, for all your outdoor activities.

What is the most expensive pair of sunglasses?
New York artist Moss Lipow may not have been trained in the design of eyewear, but that hasn't stopped him from producing a variety of uniquely eccentric sunglasses. One of those designs, framed in ostrich and alligator leather and priced at $3,800, has become one of the most expensive pairs of sunglasses in the world.
Are Oakley's e wire sunglasses good?
I had a pair of Oakley E wire sunglasses (since lost them), purchased about 10 yrs ago, and they were very comfortable and robust to damage. The lenses were oval shaped and gave an overall sleek looking profile. They were the first version of these glasses to be sold and I find them to be better looking than the current version on the market. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a sporty pair of shades in a market sadly saturated with uber-retro aviator or dinner-plate sized shades.
Can the Oakley Half Jacket earsocks fit the Oakley wires?
No it cannot, the Half Jacket's earsocks are too large.
Where are Chanel sunglasses made?
From my experience with chanel the designer label, I know for a fact that they are also made in France. Im not sure that they are made in Italy as you must know that Coco Chanels label is parisian, thus the brand chanel is FRENCH not Italian. I would be a little hesitate at buying sunglasses that say made in Italy unless you are positive or can ascertain authentication papers that go with the sunglasses!!
*I am an Optician who has been working with the Chanel label for years now. The company that manufactures Chanel eyeglass frames makes them in Italy. All Chanel frames have a "serial number" etched into the frame for authentication purposes.*
Chanel make some of their products in Italy. I have bought a pair of Chanel eye glasses frame from a registed optical store and the glasses clearly state made in Italy. They also have the serial number etched into the inside of them. Additionally I bought my first Chanel handbag in Paris at the Rue Cambon store and it indicates the bag was made in Italy. They produce some of the lambskin range in France. The company that manufactures Chanel glasses and also many other designer lables is called Luxottica based in Milan, Italy, hence why the glasses are made in Italy.
Well, it is actually pretty easy, just a long process, you need soapy water and you will need razors and a rubber tool to smooth it out with. All you do is measure on the outside of the window using your soapy water so you can move the tint around, then you will need to make sure that you cut the edges and shave it down so that it will fit the right way. then you will need to make sure that you spray down the inside of the windo so that you can move and adjust it into place. once you have it in place, you will need to use your tool to smooth and straightin it against the inside of the window. this will cause all the water to run out the sides.
CELICATECH EDIT:
Actually, the difficulty of tinting glass varies on a few variables.
1. How curved is the glass you will be working on? What type of door will you be working on? Framed or frameless? How clean of an install do you wish to have? Once you are able to answer those questions I may be able to provide you with a fair answer.
The overall process is pretty consistent though. Clean the exterior of the glass and surrounding areas including the doors, top of the car, the glass seal, the gasket the inside of the glass and then do it again. I won't go into detail now as I do not have the time but I can tell you that cleaning involves scraping the glass with stainless steel blades scratchless pads, or very fine wool; scrubbing out the gaskets multiple times until there is no dirt left. This may take a few times depending on the age and cleanliness of the car. You will have to clean out the gasket (found across the bottom of the glass where the glass meets the door. These gaskets are sometimes lined with felt. As the felt deteriorates it falls apart and it may seem that now matter how much you attempt to clean it it never does as the felt particles continuously fall off on to the glass and into your tint. You may opt to either remove the door panel, the gasket or try to tape the gasket up and back.
Keep in mind that some times cars are just too dirty to tint and will involve extensive tedious labor to get a very clean tint job. That is of course if you want a clean tint job. If you don't, just follow the basic instructions and you'll be okay.
Then there is the whole familiarity with how film behaves and how you can handle it. How to properly use your tools such as a heat gut to shrink film and not burn it. How to select the proper squeege for the task at hand and how to use it accordingly as to not crease the tint.
Once you master all the nuances and you put in a lot of practice, tinting gets easier.
I think it is safe to say that a noob would most likely have a very difficult time attempting to achieve a clean install. There may be an exception to the rule out there, but from my experience I have yet to find one that is completely new to the trade that is able to successfully achieve a clean tint job the first time around.
So in conclusion I'd like to answer your question: How hard is it to tint? It is both very easy and very difficult. It will vary on your level of skill and patience.
And then there is flat glass tinting...

In Roman times, Emperor Nero liked to watch gladiator fights through emeralds, to avoid the sun getting in his eyes. It is likely that humans in other time periods prior to the invention of sunglasses may also have put various materials over their face to protect their eyes from the brightness of the sun, but little evidence exists for this until we reach the 12th century. The 12th century is when sunglasses were invented properly, in China. They were using lenses made from imperfection-heavy quartz to block out the light from the sun, and primitive frames to hold them against the wearer's face. These sunglasses didn't protect against harmful UV rays or help their wearer to see any better (in fact, they made it very difficult to see), but they provided some relief from having the bright sun constantly shining into their eyes. Only the rich had them, but they found many uses for them - Chinese rulers and judges, for example, found that they could use the sunglasses to hide the expression on their face when they were talking to someone, allowing them to seem emotionally detached from situations. It was not until the 20th century that sunglasses really took off, though, as Hollywood stars started wearing them to protect their eyes from the bright studio lights. By 1929, an entrepreneur named Sam Foster had put sunglasses into mass production in America, and was doing a roaring trade through his company, Foster Grant of Atlantic City. In 1936, Polaroid filters were invented, allowing glasses to protect against UV rays for the first time, and making them a desirable item for health reasons as well as for reasons of fashion and comfort - useful in World War II, when soldiers had to fight in the French summer. Since then, there have been few developments in sunglasses, with the basic science and materials remaining basically the same for the last seventy years - but, like other useful inventions of the period, they remain a big seller. before answering these question i want to make clear that SUNGLASSES means glasses which gives protection from sun, so we cant say that Roman emperor Nero invented it, or introduced it. we can say that it got invented by Sam Foster, as he is the person who introduced ultraviolet filters which eliminates the UV rays.

Glass is formed by heating sand to its melting point. Objects are then either cast or blown to their desired shape and allowed to cool slowly
Glass is made from a mixture of sand and other materials. Just regular sand can be made into glass, but it must be heated to about 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit. It's also possible to make glass out of sand, sodium carbonate, and limestone. Together, they can melt at a lower temperature and make glass.
Traditionally it was mass with fine, high quality glass, cut into shape and ground down and polished until it was the correct shape, however with the advent of plastics, they are usually made from polycarbonate or CR-69 (allyl diglycol carbonate).
well first they et sand. then they melt it in a smelter and add stuff like lead.
after that they let it cool down and it makes glass.
