To unlock mewtwo, you can either play 700 vs. mode matches, or you can play a combined total of 20 hours in vs. mode. I unlocked mewtwo by playing the 700 vs. matches, and it wasn't as hard as it seemed at first. To do it, I went to special melee and selected a sudden death match (300%). Then, I set it for a stock match, and set the stock to one. One attack can finish the battle, and it counts for the total! It still takes time, but it is an easier way to do it.

You have to reach the Subspace level and after trying to fight Tabuu again, Sonic will come, smashing Tabuu's wings.

If you're talking about charging the baseball bat, pick it up and like any other smash attack, press left/right and "A" ("2" with just the Wii-mote) at the same time. The character should go into a "wind up" animation and they and the bat should glow a bit. Try to hit the sandbag with the tip of the bat. Just a tip, no pun intended.

There are a ton of sercet characters that can be unlocked in Super Smash bros Brawl. Almost all of these characters will join your roster as you proceed thought the Subspace adventure mode. Once a character appears in a cut scene they will join your party in the adventure mode. When New characters that are unlockable, appear (example Marth or Snake) in the Adventure mode, you will have the chance to play as them, then once that level that you found them on is beaten, they will join your adventure party and become playable characters in Brawl.

Here are the list of sercet characters that are not on the default roster. They all will be unlocked as you play thought Subspace.

Marth (from Fire Emblem series)

Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid series)

Sonic The Hedgehog (play a lot of brawl games to get him or you get him at the last level of subspace)

Ness (from Mother 2)

Luigi (from Mario bros series)

Falco (from Star Fox series)

Captain Falcon (F-Zero)

Lucario (Pokemon Diamond/Pearl)

R.O.B. (as seen in Mario Kart games)

Mr. Game and Watch (mascot from the Game and Watch)

Ganondorf (Zelda series)

These charcaters are a little different. They are unlocked by different means. I'll list how you find them but for only the ones i know.

Jigglypuff (Pokemon series) no you don't. go back to the swamp stage and after you beat shadow kong enter the first door you see and whalla!(requires beating subspace)

Toon Link (Wind Waker/ Phantom Hourglass) After you beat Subspace for the first time, go back to the forest stage and got into the first door that comes up. A cutscene of Toon Link on a ship will come up and you will have to fight him. Beat him and you can play as him in Subspace and Brawls. Lose and you can go back to the same place and try again.

Wolf. O Donnel (Star Fox) Complete adventure mode or classic mode as fox then boss battle as fox.

After you beat the great maze in Super Smash Bros Brawl you have to go to the room with the door and characters in the background. The characters are the ones you still have to beat if there are any left. If not then you can go right into the door by going to the middle of the room and press up, like you are going through a regular door. Then you have to battle Tabuu. After you defeat him the credits will roll after Tabuu goes bye-bye. Then you are taken to the main menu after you save the game. When you go back to the subspace emissary game you beat Tabuu on Sonic joins your party. Then you can get three new characters by going to the forest and through the new door then defeating Toon Link to get Toon Link. The ruins & through the extra door & defeat Wolf to get Wolf. Also, the swamp and through the extra door & defeat Jigglypuff to get Jigglypuff. You can also go to any other stage you have done to try to beat those stages to.

in team what ever color your flag is, is your color but on free for all you cant change character colors

You must play as the character Donkey Kong 20 times in Brawl Mode.

4 possible reasons:

1. You're putting it in the wrong way (non-illustrated side toward the majority of the wii)

2. You need a software update (should tell you when you try to play the game)

3. Your Wii has dust on it's reader and therefore can't read any games (test this)

4. The brawl disk is damaged in some way (scratched, chipped, etc.)

The best part about this mode is the programmers don't leave you in the dark at certain points, generally you will either side scroll thru levels or duke it out with characters and bosses to reach the end of the levels. So here's some help: Have a second player they can press start to tag to you if there in danger plus its an extra punch wouldn't you take it, look around alot there may be keys lying around or switches to press, doors are a big part of this mode press up to go in them the rooms may change if the door looks different hint hint, try doing stuff in one room then advance to one nearby, try not to get caught up with fights on the way. Other than that learn the bosses moves.

Because Sonic is third party and Sega would only allow 1 playable character and one assist trophy, and of course Sonic got to be the playable character, so they made Shadow the assist trophy, probably because he is the 2nd most popular sonic character next to Sonic. Like any other Shadow the hedgehog fan, I wished he was playable, but he's only an assist trophy. Well, I guess being an assist trophy is better than nothing, so I just enjoy making him appear in battle alongside the other characters. Just take what they give you, that's the way I look at it.

You could complete classic mode with the 14 characters you started with, or Play Multiplayer Vs. mode a couple of times until he shows up "don't count on it"

Yes! Although he mostly fights with his feet, not his hands. He also has the ability to copy an opponents special move (not final smash), for example mario's fire balls, link's bow and arrow, or sonic's ability to curl into a ball. He is one of the highest jumpers in the game and can stay in the air for a limited time before falling back to the floor.

Super Sonic is Sonic's final smash.

And you can unlock Sonic in the Subspace Emissary or by playing a certain number of times (I don't know exactly, but I know it's definitely between 100 and 400).
