in chapter 13 of new moon, (pages 300-322), Bella goes to Jacob's house to tell him about her father hunting the werewolves. she talks to him and she finds out that Jake's wolf pack killed Laurent, one of the vampire's in James' coven. she also finds out that Victoria (James' mate) is in Forks looking for her. she wants to kill Bella to get even with Edward for killing James. Jacob leaves to go talk to his pack about Victoria's return. he promises to protect Bella and charlie from Victoria. then they talk about Jacob's transformation from human to werewolf.

In the book, Bella goes to Port Angeles with Jessica. Angela doesn't accompany them on this particular outing.

If you are talking about the sequale to Twilight, which I presume you are, Bella has her eighteenth birthday, which she isn't happy about because now she is older than Edward. And at her party she cuts her finger on wrapping paper. Of course Jasper goes skits and attacks her but Edward knocks her out of the way. But he pushes her into a whole lot of glass and that makes more blood.

Carlisle gives her stiches and stuff continues on. Edward is all depressed for a bit then he is like to Bella "I'm going. We can't stay here anymore Carlisle and Esme cant pass off as their age anymore."

So he leaved her and she becomes all depressed. Like four months pass and she decides to get a motorbike, two actually, because Edward asked her to stay safe and out of danger and she feels like breaking a promise. The bikes don't work so she goes to Jacob Black, from Twilight, to help fix them. And when I say help I mean he does all the work and she pays for it.

Finally she starts feeling better. Jacob is helping her get over Edward, sort of. But then Jacob gets sick and stops seeing her. But he isn't really sick because she sees him at the shops or something and she starts getting all depressed again. She goes off to the meadow that is in the first book and Laurent turns up and basically says, "I'm going to kill you quickly, trust me it will be better than what Victoria does to you." and just before she bites him these HUGE wolves turn up and scare him away.

Well Bella is really stupid and it takes ages and a lot of hints for her to get that Jacob and his friends are werewolves. NA DER! It mentions it in the first book.

At some point Jacob promised Bella to take her cliff diving (Diving off a huge cliff into water) but he keeps ditching her, so she goes alone. A storm starts happening while she is in the water and she drowns.

BUT

Jacob dives in and pulls her out. PS she sees something red.

Jacob drives her home but smells a vampire so he starts to drive off. But Bella recognises the car, it belongs to Carlisle, she makes him stop and let her out.

Alice turned up because she saw Bella jump of a giant cliff, but for some reason (she cant see werewolves futures or any future that involves a werewolf) she doesn't see Jacob pull Bella out. Alice thought Bella tried to kill her self. Charlie comes home and tells Bella that Harry Clearwater had a heart attack and died.

The next day or so Jacob is at Bella's and just as he is about to leave the phone rings, he picks up and says "Hello?"

"No he is at the funeral."

And hangs up.

Bella is like "Who was it?"

Jacob was like "Carlisle looking for your dad."

Later on when Jacob is gone, Rosalie calls Alice and tells her that Edward is gone.

See Rosalie told Edward that Alice saw Bella jumping off the cliff but didn't tell him that she wasn't dead. And then he called pretending to be Carlisle and Jacob said that Charlie was at the funeral. See where this is going?

So Bella and Alice race off to Italy to try and stop Edward from doing something stupid like walking out into sunlight without any clothes. Because the Volturi (these d*#kheads of the vampire world) would kill him if he did.

It's a really sunny day in which ever city they are in and Alice can't step out of the car. So Bella has to run the streets of this strange town looking for Edward before he sentences himself to death.

She finds him and pushes him back into the shade before anyone notices him.

Then Volturi body guards turn up and insist that they come with them. They do, reluctantly and the meet Aro, Marcus and Caius. The three main guys in the Volturi. Aro can read every thought and memory someone has ever had but he has to touch them.

The Voluturi basically say that they have to either kill Bella or turn her because no human is meant to know of the vampire breed.

Edward and the Cullens come back to forks…

Victoria has a few pitiful attempts at getting at Bella.

And that's about it.
