The first action of a Triple Jump is the cycle or a jump in which you land on the foot you jumped off of. During this Action you should bring your non-jumping leg in and after you've taken off your jumping leg should go around like your pedaling a giant cycle. you can usually get good spikes specifically for triple jump, look on google and find some spikes their, it should tell you if they are specific to triple jump.

For Junior high children (grades 7,8,9) they will often use the 5 metre or 7 metre boards for Senior High school males they will use the 9,11, or 13 metre boards.
For long jump a 2 metre board is the most used but in some competitions they use a 1 metre board
Such records are not kept or published.
According to the IAAF Track and Field Facilities Manual 2008, the type of sand for the long jump landing area is
"Washed river sand 0 to 2mm graining, no organic components, max. 5% of weight up to 0.20mm"
