The tuba music in "Mr. Deeds Goes To Town," a movie from the 1930s staring Gary Cooper, was played by my grandfather, Winthrop O. Warner. He was a musician with many Hollywood studio orchestras including Disney. He was able to play many instruments, one of which was the tuba.

It's a logical brain teaser. First off, it's supposed to be "stain" not "Spain". And the thing that they all have in common is that they all can be changed into names of countries by changing only one letter. Like so... Stain (as we've seen already) becomes Spain, Tuba becomes Cuba, Chime becomes Chile, Iron becomes Iran, and Perk becomes Peru.

The tuba produces sound by vibrating or buzzing the lips into a large cupped mouth piece. It produces different pitches by changing the mouthpiece. It is the lowest pitched instrument and the largest in the brass family. Tuba is a Latin word for trumpet.

It's not viscous or malicious, just delovey and delicious. That would be Groove is in The Heart by Deee-light. However, that particular part of the song is lifted from Herbie Hancock's: Bring Down The Birds.

An euphonium is overall a small tuba...but there are other differences too!

-an euphonium has four valves while a tuba can have three of them.

-tuba's can be close to 50 pounds! while an euphonium is lighter.

-though both a tuba and an euphonium are bass instruments, tuba are the main bass that can most likely go lower than a euphonium

It has Clarinet, Bassoon, Trombone and Tuba. It doesn't have Bass Clarinet or Euphonium.

You can change your notes on the tuba by moving your lips upward or downward. Upward is lower, downward is slightly higher than upward and just stright means high.

It depends how much sound you want. A smaller not really, but for a louder sound, defiantly!

There are 4 varieties of tubas.

there is the db flat tuba

and the rotary valve tuba

If it can be converted, it would include an alternate leadpipe, so that the mouthpiece would be positioned to play while seated.

Some metals (copper, iron, zinc, etc.) are already made, and exist naturally as an element. Other metals are just combined from existing metals.

You would have to be more specific, it could be a euphonium/baritone or even a trumpet. also it could be some sort of vintage brass instrument, it might just not be as modern as the tuba you know.

A great deal of cardiovascular exercise enlarges the heart over time because of the great demand on the heart for blood to be pumped to the working muscles. These are usually the larger muscles of the legs. When using a musical instrument you are using the Thoracic Diaphragm and the lungs to push air through the instrument. While this may be a good exercise to develop excellent lung power, unless your heart is very taxed while your playing your instrument, it is doubtful that any significant increase in heart size would ever take place.
