there is no use. animals each play their own roles, and as humans, we have our own roles. we're omnivores; natural guess is we're supposed to eat vegetables AND meat in order to survive. tortoises are land and water animals that go about with their own life, reproducing and feeding and finding more ways to survival- same reason why we still reproduce and find new ways of living; kinda like how we use technology to fill the talents that us humans do not have.
