What does it mean by dimensions with matting?
Assuming you're talking about a picture frame, or a framed photo, poster, or art work, mattes are those wide solid-color pieces of thick paper or board that are put in the frame on top of the artwork, like an outline.
A picture frame's dimensions with matting would mean that an 8 x 10 frame with a matte inside may only be able to display a 5 x 7 photo, because that's how big the opening in the matte is.
If you're trying to buy a poster, photo, or art work, dimensions with matting means that the poster, photo, or art work will include a matte, which may be bigger than the poster, photo, or art work itself. (Like above, if you were buying a 5 x 7 photo, with matting it may be 8 x 10.)
Mattes can be very wide, or very skinny, so the dimensions with matting may not actually give you a very good idea of what size the actual frame or poster, photo, or art work really is. If you're concerned, ask about the frame size (if buying a frame), or the size of the actual piece (if you're buying a poster, photo, or art work.)
Remember, if you're buying something you're going to frame, the frame itself will make the dimensions even bigger, so measure your available space carefully!

About a Black and white work of art of a child that appears to be drawing them self?
The black and white artwork depicts a child focused intently on drawing, with a sketch of themselves emerging on the page. The contrast of light and shadow accentuates the child's concentration and innocence, while the simplicity of the monochrome palette highlights the act of self-reflection and creativity. The piece evokes themes of identity and imagination, inviting viewers to consider the significance of self-perception in childhood. This artwork beautifully captures a moment of introspection, where the child explores their own likeness and individuality through art.
What are three things in common that batik and tie-dye have together?
Batik and tie-dye both involve the technique of resist dyeing, where certain areas of fabric are protected from dye to create patterns. Both methods also result in unique, intricate designs, as the final outcome depends on the application of dye and the resist techniques used. Additionally, both art forms have cultural significance, with rich histories and traditional practices in various regions around the world.

The Resurrection (1499), by Pietro Perugino.
Painted by Millais in 1886 it depicts a small girl with a large umbrella (gump).
Not one of his more famous pictures but issued as a print none the less
Corrections: It was painted in 1881 by Millais for The Graphic and was made into a print. The correct title is "Little Mrs. Gamp" and it depicts a Dickens character - Sairey Gamp - as she might have been as a child. Mrs. Gamp, the Dickens character, was always with a bonnet and an umbrella.
It was displayed in the US in Buffalo, NY. for the grand opening of Albright Art Gallery 31 May 1905
I have much more information on this painting if you are interested
