Im trying to find out information on a painting called 'Little Miss Gamp' by J E Millais but cant find anything?

Painted by Millais in 1886 it depicts a small girl with a large umbrella (gump).

Not one of his more famous pictures but issued as a print none the less

Corrections: It was painted in 1881 by Millais for The Graphic and was made into a print. The correct title is "Little Mrs. Gamp" and it depicts a Dickens character - Sairey Gamp - as she might have been as a child. Mrs. Gamp, the Dickens character, was always with a bonnet and an umbrella.

It was displayed in the US in Buffalo, NY. for the grand opening of Albright Art Gallery 31 May 1905

I have much more information on this painting if you are interested

Who is J Fuller the artist of oil painting of sea captain?simular face.I was at an arts and crafts sale in Shreveport, La. in the mid 1970's. How long does a glow in the dark paint last on canvas?

It depends on the paint used.

"Luminous" paint will only last a short time because it will lose its chemical reactants (radioactive paints being unusual).

"Phosphorescent" paint may absorb light energy, then release it again. This will last for a considerable time but not for any great numberof years, because it reacts with other chemicals as well.

What does the painting 'Wreck of the Hesperus' look like?

I too was interested in such an answer (Groucho Marx refers to a painting of such title being tatooed on 'Lydia the tattoed Lady' in his song of that name). An entry on Google states that William McTaggart RSA (presumably Member of Royal Scottish Academy) painted a picture with that title based upon the poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Hope this helps.

Do sugar cubes disintegrate when being painted?

No

There are edible paints used by specialty bakeries that can be used on cakes etc. With a light touch and an airbrush used specifically for edible paint, you can paint on sugar cubes.

Also, if you are just using the cubes as a base, with no intent to eat them, you can in fact spray paint them.

I would however suggest a good airbrush and not an aerosol spray can.
