What happen when pv breaker on tanker ship fail?

When a power supply (PV) breaker on a tanker ship fails, it can lead to a loss of electrical power to critical systems, potentially impacting navigation, communication, and cargo handling operations. This can create safety hazards, such as the inability to operate pumps for ballast or cargo, and may increase the risk of marine accidents. Crew members must quickly implement emergency protocols, which may include using backup power systems or manual operations to maintain safety and control of the vessel. Regular maintenance and inspections are essential to prevent such failures.

What happens when a thermostat fails?

IF the thermostat gets stuck open you will not have heat in the winter. The car will take a very long time to warm up in cold climates.

If the thermostat gets stuck closed, the motor will quickly become too hot, as measured by the temperature gauge. This symptom can also be seen if the motor freezes in the winter. The engine heats up by the coolant in the radiator stays frozen, so water can not circulate.
