Woman may want chocolates, cards, flowers, or for men to propose to them?
Something he's definetly into, something original, personal... Something that might mean something to the two of you. Judge by his hobbies and what he's into...
A few ideas might be .... A picture of you two in a nice frame, his favorite band CD, his favorite movie, (if he doesn't already have it) or make him a nice dinner. (You could also take him to dinner if you can't cook that well)
A guy generally doesnt want a phsyical gift from his girlfriend, nor should he. I find valentines to be a time for a guy to appreciate his girl by showing her what she means to him. Girls are a precious thing to a guy, and his only concern should be to make you happy. I find generally too that guys find it mushy to receive a gift from a girl on Valentines. All you can do is thank him, and give him a kiss in return. That should be more than enough for him.
the best thing to give your boyfriend is a homemade gift! make him a basket with his favorite of everything in it( candy cookies ect). or make him a scrapbook(only if the relationship is over a year).
Valentine was a priest who worked in Rome during the rule of Emperor Claudius II. The emperor made a rule that soldiers couldn't get married, as he thought this made them weaker warriors.
Valentine disagreed with this and would perform secret weddings for couples. He was caught and sentenced to death. Before he died he wrote a letter an unknown woman who he himself had strong feeling for. The letter was signed "from your Valentine." He is said to have died on February 14th.
The church later made him a saint for upholding the divine right of marriage and made him the patron saint of lovers and made February 14th St. Valentine's Day.
The earliest celebration of St. Valentine was probably the Roman Catholic Church's attempt to Christianize the February 13-15 pagan celebration of fertility called Lupercalia. The modern American revival of Valentine's day was the work of a greeting card manufacturer, so Valentine's day is "for" selling cards: it now ranks #2 of days with most cards given.
The first recorded association of St Valentine's Day with romantic love was in the 14th century in England
Spa treatment, makeovers, maids if your house is untidy, let the kids go out somewhere for the adults to have so time by theirselves, treat her to dinner and things like that like your mum loves. BTW, if your English use the term "mum" insted of "mom" that's was Americas use. Hope that helped! From :)
* Whether half a dozen or a dozen red roses to the opposite sex is a sign of romance (love.) The person who sends have a dozen roses may only be able to afford that amount and there is no other significant meaning to it. Just accept it and enjoy the half dozen roses.
the best gift is a gift that comes from the heart where a small handmade valentines card can be just enough and is considered by your boyfriend the perfect gift if he shares your feelings and have a mutual love relationship
it is estimated that 1 billion are sold on valentines day in the UK
I had the same question. I got my boyfriend a watch. I don't know if he will like it but what ever. My boyfriend doesn't even like chocolate.
Depending on what sex you are and what sex your going for go for something cliche. Especial if your a guy and you like a girl give her a rose, its a simple and thoughtful gesture
A universal hit among sons of all ages is a goody bag filled with his favorite treats. You could also surprise him by taking him to the movies or rent that movie he has been dying to see. There's really no need to go all out on Valentine's Day. Save it for his birthday.
On Valentines Day, for boy you can gift cool gadgets, t-shirts, wallets, gift vouchers, watches, leather gifts, nautical gifts, gift vouchers and much more.
Well. If he is mature (being 16 or older) give the boy your body for the weekend, either that or pay for his lunch at ihop.
Chocolates!
Candy!
All boys like those things, and they cant complain about it.
Such as if you buy them Adidas or something and they may
say "you think i smell?".
Guys are very complicated to buy stuff for on Valentines Day
especially, so just get them candy or chocolates and you should
be alright! you can buy a card and maybe something like a shirt saying 'sorry ladies im taken' which is cute and brings a smile to your boyfriends face. its perfect for valentines day.
Well as an experienced married men. Here is my advice; What about buying a piece of jewelry, almost all women love jewelry even though they don't confess. This is going to be my 3rd year that we will be celebrating Valentine's Day with my wife. I have always wanted to give unique gifts to her. But since this year is the year for saving I wanted to give something affordable as well as special. I have found this "designer jewelry website by Aya Azrielant" with moderate prices. You should check it out.
No one knows how many Valentine's Day gifts are given each year counting flowers, candy, cards, and other gifts, but it is safe to assume that it is at least a half million and probably more in the United States.
more of 80 percent. even if guys are single and they don't have any romantic relationships, they aren't going to buy gifts for their special someones. even if its only their crush, special friend or their sisters and mothers.
Im a virgin But Im Thinkinq About My Boyfriend Sex.We Been Together For A While
And I Think He Will Enjoy It More .You Could Give Him A Card Or Somethinq.
Uhh, sex is not the answer. PLEASE don't give your boyfriend your virginity for Valentine's day, it is NOT worth it. Give him a card and a hug or something.
red roses mean love, yellow roses mean jealous :D
Tools! The answer is always tools, anytime, any reason. Candy or something special to the both of you.
Yes you should, it shows her you still like her as a great friend! She will be happy that you still like her.
Don't think so, unless you guys are really good friends or just friends. Or if you still like her, then go for it, but if you guys don't really talk, or just say hi to each other then NO. Because that person would/will think you still like her. But if you do like her, then take the chance buy her something, and even ask her out again. Or just tell her your happy because you guys are still friends.
Nothing says 'Thank You for dumping me' like a gift that she will ridicule you with infront of her friends.
You can't force someone to give you a valentines present! you stupid mug:L
Valentines is one of the hardest things to do, as it shows feelings and emotions, therefore you cannot force someone to do it.
I think that Valentines Day is getting a little over commercialized. It used to be about dates and spending a day with your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. But now its about just buyng the nicest present that are on commercials like a Tiffany ring or Lindtt Choclates.
