There is nothiing wrong with the 80 mg of narcotic you would be taking, however, the 500 presents a serious problem. The 500 stands for the amount of acetaminophen (Tylenol) in the pill. 4,000mg (the amount in 8 pills) is the MAXIMUM for any 24 hour period. Overdoses of Tylenol cause a painful death within a week or two unless you can find a liver transplant. 4,000 is on the line, but the FDA is asking to have the maximum dose lowered because on occasion people have reported acute liver failure with only 4,000mg. If you drink regularly it is WAY WAY to much alcohol. You could also ask your doctor for a stronger prescription (15-350) to lessen the risk. I don't have your chart in front of you but your doctor could talk to you more about your specific case. Do not take that many if you are a recreational user, the acetaminophen od risk is to high.

yes Vicodin contains hydrocodone/codein and it will show up on a drug test for 2-3 days after ingestion. Suboxone does not make you urinate clean for any opiate (or any drug for that matter) on a drug screen. Suboxone contains buprenorphine and naloxone and it blocks the effects of other opiates for 24-72 hours after your last dose depending on how much suboxone you took.

Also, because suboxone contains buprenorphine, DO NOT take suboxone for at least 12-24 hours after taking any kind of opiate as it will immediately put you into precipitated withdrawals. It is exactly like withdrawing from opiates if you are physically dependent on them and is not something to be taken lightly. Opiate withdrawal is absolutely horrible and if you can avoid the onset of withdrawals you should do so at any cost.

Generally, Tylenol or acetaminophen is able to be used in concert with diclofenac. Tylenol is not an NSAID so there is little chance of an overdose.

i was prescribed m357 for a broken bone. I think the "M" stands for "Mallinkrodt" the manufacturer of this generic vicodin. it was supposed to be lortab 10/500 but they gave me lortab 5/500 which is the same as the vicodin 500. im not sure what the numbers are for yet but I'll ry to fiind out.

for those who don't know, the differences between vicodin, lortab, and norco are usually the acetominophen (aka Tylenol).. like vicodin has the most acetominpehn and norco has the least.

In general, yes you can as they possess different mechanisms of action. Both hydrocodone (in Vicodin) and ibuprofen (Motrin) can be upsetting to the stomach, however. This is acceptable for short term use, however neither is meant to be taken chronically alone or together unless directed by a physician. Also, if you do decide to take these together, please run it by your doctor and/or pharmacist as this combination or one of the two may not be appropriate for all patients.

Hydrocodone 10/500 apap is obiously vicoden with 10mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of Tylenol/acetaminofen. The other numbers are just inscription codes to identify the pill. That is if your sure it is hydrocodone. Usually they will say m360 or Watson or other types. Hydrocodone 10/500 is usually knon a Lortab.

In the stomach, and the small intestine - and to a certain degree, the medication can be released without the pill being completely dissolved. I believe the "shell" for want of a better word is permeable and that effective plasma levels can be achieved even should the pill appear to pass through the body intact. I know this because I have seen whole pills in my stool, and yet I consistently achieve a therapeutic effect from taking the medication (pain reduction)aas directed, so either we're all being duped, or my assessment is reasonably correct.

I think you're mistaken. Naproxen is Aleve, Ibuprofen is an NSAID (non steroidal anti inflammatory drug), and Tylenol is acetaminophen.

Vicodin is a combination of acetaminophen and hydrocodone. The hydrocodone is a narcotic (opiate).

Combining two OTC pain medications is generally a bad idea as you'll combine the bad effects (i.e. stomach bleeding, taxing your liver) and you really won't get much more bang for your buck.

If these stains are from rust, I would say try snow bowl. I know it sounds crazy, but it works! Put the snow bowl on ( try and get the thick formula so it doesn't run and actually sits on the stain) then let it sit for a few minutes(make sure not to leave it too long because it will start to eat the material). Make sure you have a window open or a fan on because the smell will be very strong and the chemicals are not good to inhale, and you may want to wear gloves because the strong chemicals will irritate the skin. Then just use a soft scrubber, like the green ones used in the kitchen and scrub it off.
