Can you crush Vicodin and take it with juice?
You should only take your medicine as prescribed. Crushing it can be dangerous as it absorbs into the bloodstream faster and can cause an intense high, stomach sickness, or other unwanted side effects including death depending on the amount taken. It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions on how you should take your medicine and take as prescribed. If Vicodin was meant to be taken crushed, it would be prescribed in that form.
If you have problems with the taste of the Vicodin, you can try taking it with food or putting a small amount of juice in your mouth (not enough to spill out if you open your mouth, then place the pill in your mouth and swallow them together followed by another drink of juice. You could also try taking a bite of a piece of fruit like a banana then taking your Vicodin and following with another bit of banana or fruit that you like.
If you have further questions please consult your physician or pharmacist if your physician is unavailable.
Can you take vicodin tramadol and neurontin at the same time?
You get pain relief! I am taking both now - have had no side effects whatsosever, and I am a person who is normally very sensitive to medication. Just make sure you don't take acetominophen (Tylenol) because there's a ton of it already in the Vicodin. Bad for your liver.
Dosage: I have titrated up to 500 mg Neurontin a day. I have RX for 750 mg Vicodin but typically cut them in half and take 4 halves per day. This is for constant pain and migraines as a result of dental work, far as I can tell; don't actually know what caused my nerve pain to start but this combo helps relieve it somewhat. Good luck.
My script says take one pill every 6 hours and was given 60 how long should the prescription last?

AnswerI do not know who posted the answer below, but they are not citing any data. Vicodin Rx is usually used in large breed dogs instead of morphine. The dose is generally 1mg to 2mg of hydrocodone. I have had two dogs treated from vets with vicodin. One with hip displysia the other with arthritis.Never never NEVER give a dog a medication meant for humans unless the vet tells you to. It could kil them.
FYI: My vet is giving my dog, and not large at that, small amounts of vicodin to control chronic pain. While some human medications can be both harmful in humans and animals when misused, they can also have benefits.
"Codeine and hydrocodone are used frequently in veterinary medicine. These are not nearly as potent for pain relief as morphine but they make a very good combination medication for use with NSAIDS. Vicodin (Rx) is a mixture of hydrocodone and acetaminophen, which can be used safely in dogs. Codeine/aspirin combinations are also available. These combinations are not acceptable for use in cats. We usually base our dosing on the hydrocodone or codeine portion for combination medications. Hydrocodone can be used in cats if it is the sole ingredient.
It is pretty common in veterinary medicine to dispense butorphanol (Torbutrol Rx) for pain relief, especially in cats. While this is definitely better than no pain relief at all there are limits to the effectiveness of butophanol for chronic pain, as its effects only last for one to two hours in most dogs and several hours in cats. In addition, increasing the dosage of this medication can sometimes lessen its pain relieving effects rather than increase them.
Buprenorphine is a narcotic that is not approved for use in dogs or cats even though it is used fairly often. It provides a longer duration of pain relief than butorphanol. It doesn't come in an oral form but the injectable form is given orally in cats as it is tasteless and works well as an oral solution. This medication is rapidly gaining favor in the United States as the preferred narcotic for use in cats.
Fentanyl is usually used as a transdermal patch (Duragesic Rx) in dogs and cats. It provides long term pain relief by constant absorption through the skin from the patch. It is surprising, but most pets will leave these patches alone. Despite this it is important to prevent the pet from ingesting the patch as this can provide an oral dosage high enough to cause coma or death. It is important to recognize that there is a delayed onset of effect when using the patches. In dogs it takes about 12 hours to achieve good pain relieving dosages and in cats it takes a minimum of five hours. The effective life of the patch is about 3 days in dogs and up to 5 days in cats. The pain relief from these patches is considered to be moderate, especially in dogs. For this reason it is often necessary to use them as a constant provider of pain control but to supplement them as necessary with a compatible narcotic or an NSAID."

What to do if individual who is scheduled to begin working does not show up?
Employment is a contract between yourself and an employee. If the person is a "no show" more than three days in a row, the industry practice is that s/he is not employed at your firm. I work in retail and instances like this are very common. Always check references, and consider having "orientation" before putting a new employee on the schedule. Do not hold the job for the person unless circumstances were beyond control such as car failure, jail, or family loss. Even then, the employee should have called. Do not get upset over it, just accept this occurance as a natural part of doing business in today's society.

What does TAWAT mean in a prescription?
It's a combined abbreviation for the words "Tab" (the type of pill) and "Watson" (the pharmaceutical company which makes the drug being taken).
The pill isn't large enough for the entire 2 words to be spelled out so they're combined. However, they're often written out in full on the bottle.
