No, vicodin is tylenol and hydrocodone.. tylenol (acetaminophen) is excreted through the liver, not the kidneys. And opiods like hydrocodone are much better on the kidneys than NSAIDS like ibuprofen, advil, etc

The combination of Xanax (Alprazolam), Vicodin (Hydrocodone), and Ativan (Lorazepam) is a lethal combination of Opiates and Benzodiazepines. Snorting any medication that was not designed to nasally ingested can result in tissue damage in the nose and sinus cavities. Not to mention it can damage your brain. The ending result will be brain damage and the inability to smell.

I have been looking into this. It doesn't seem anyone feels there are health risks. I can tell you this: Wellbutrin does not get along with any other drug. It seems like anything that disrupts the workings of Wellbutrin is spoiled by it. It is a very jealous drug, and that's why it helps with nicotine addiction. I have always been very adventerous with substances. I have not found anything that agrees with Wellbutrin. You will be hard pressed to devise a combo I haven't already attempted. Again, I can't speak medically on this, but your enjoyment will be affected. As for actual pain relief, it helps. I broke my ankle and was on Norcos for months. But, you will deal with the conflicts I speak of. Basically, Wellbutrin will amplify the negative aspects of any chemical experience. With Hydrocodone, this means increased irritability, depression, etc. That is my observation, after 11 years on/off with Wellbutrin - added to a very stubborn taste for altered states.

Yes you can but watch out for your dosages so you don't overdose and cause liver problems. I would take one than wait a few hours and take the other.

Yes it will show up as THC and you will show for opiates as well one does not offset the other.Lose the opiates they are the devil.Why would you pay to feel those withdrawal symptoms?

Most definitely it does or rather it will. This of course is dependent on your use of the opioid with the most important factor being your last usage of the drug. Generally speaking if you take zero pills for a week prior; you will be fine. If the use is for pain management for a root canal broken bones, ect. and you can provide a prescription you should be okay even if it is positive.

They are both pain relievers, but the Percocet is definitely more potent. They are two very different chemicals. Both contain acetaminophen (Tylenol). Your body turns both into Morphine in the blood. The Vicodin is mixed with a drug called Hydrocodone, While Percocet is mixed with Oxycodone (the ingredient in Oxycontin).

Both however are made from opiates and/ore synthetic opiates, so they have a high risk of dependance, possibly why your doctor has switched you. The Perocet is about 2-3x as strong as the vicodin, but will vary depending on the dosages.

Because of the variance in dosages and the difference in the chemicals, it does NOT mean that two or three vicodin are the same as one percoset, and can be quite dangerous, and could possibly have deadly consequences from taking too many.

I doubt the Vicodin caused the tongue blisters but it could have triggered the virus that is the cause of tongue blisters (canker sores on the tongue). They can be treated at the dentist office or a general practitioner's office. There is a solution that will help with the pain and treatment of the sores. If you have a dentist just go there and they will probably see you without an appointment since it only takes a few minutes to give you the solution.

I doubt it. There haven't been any case studies that I could find that linked hydrocodone/acetaminophen(APAP), or Vicodin, to kidney failure. It is most likely due to something else like kidney stones or a UTI. One thing you might want to do if you're on the Vicodin ES tablets (that is 7.5mg hydrocodone/750mg APAP) four times a day is get a liver test done since long term APAP use can cause liver issues, especially if you drink. While you're at it, it would be a good idea to have your kidneys checked out as well. To answer your question though the Vicodin should not be causing kidney problems.
