The jaggies can occur for numerous reasons. If you are viewing the text in the FCP Canvas this is not what the final output will be. You will need to view the video on an external monitor to see the final quality but in the FCP Canvas you can select to view the video at 100% and turn off the Aspect Ratio correction.
