That's not the right question.

The sun sign determines who you are as a person. The moon sign determines what you act like. If you're talking about sun signs, sure the Libra and Virgo may be very different people, they do have similarities as well, but that doesn't completely say anything about whether or not they don't like each other.

The better question is Why don't they get along well, or Does the moon sign affect one's dislike of the other. It's their personality that defines whether or not they can get along despite these differences. I am a Scorpio, friends with a Sagittarius, which is kind of weird, seeing as we are VERY different people, but our moons signs are completely compatible, mine being Scorpio again, and hers being Pisces.

Libra is very intellectual, but Virgo also tends to possess a fair amount of intellect. They are both pretty flighty, but I think Libra is more insecure than Virgo. If you're talking about two girls, then Libra might be jealous of Virgo's looks, their artistic ability, their charm, or something like that, that can be displayed through their personality. Libra could get jealous very easily, or just annoyed by some of these facts.

If it's a debate or something, I've noticed that Libra thinks Virgo's ideas are not well thought out, and kind of just weird. Libra has this sassy ability to give them the look, or do that half smile, while looking for others around the room who feel the same so they can ridicule together! :) The poor Virgo is just different but they can surely get along if the moon signs work out. Maybe the particular Libra and Virgo you think of just clash in Moon signs.

(Devoid of the rest of the Birth Chart(s)) these two don't seem to have a lot in common. After all, Virgo is an Earth sign and Aquarius is an Air sign. Conventional Astrology ( the very basic kind) likes you to believe that these two signs (and elements) will clash with each other, just like say stripes and paisley might. Virgo is humble, realistic, introverted, sensitive, and "down-to-Earth", while Aquarius is said to extroverted, abstract in thinking, idealistic, insensitive to others feelings, and "aloof".

But let's be Virgo in nature for just one second (by that, I mean "realistic") and think about it. There are an infinite amount of people on this Earth, and I assure you there are Virgo/Aquarius relationships "out there" and they are everywhere. Along with the Virgo/Aries, Virgo/Leo, Virgo/Libra, Virgo/Sagittarius, and the Virgo/Gemini relationships.... I'm going to go against the grain here and say that they can be quite beneficial to each other. These two really can balance each other out. I suppose my answer is "Yes", they "can" be compatible, but not always "are".

But then again, we are just talking about "Sun" signs. They both are usually very interested in the environment as well as Humanitarian causes (Aquarius on a larger scale ie.- starting their own charity or bringing awareness to a Worldwide cause, while Virgo is happy with something smaller in scale and simple ie.- recycling or adopting a pet). Virgo is intrigued by Aquarius's abstract mind, which brings about Virgo's sense of "Higher Thinking''. Aquarius is attracted to Virgo's simplicity which makes Aquarius realize that not everything has to be abstract and grand to be liked. Somethings are simply "simple", and that very simplicity can be beautiful, which Aquarius is not always comfortable with. This is exactly where Virgo comes in....

I'm not saying these two don't have their differences because they definitely do. They are basically opposites when it comes to their personalities, but that's probably what will attract them in the first place. Of course, this might be one of those pairings where they're better off being "just friends" as opposed to being lovers. But, then again the latter might just work just as well. Their differences can bring about an intensity that can only be matched by, say a Scorpio/Aquarius or Taurus/Aquarius match.
