I would say from my experience the best schedule for these drugs would be Zoloft first thing in the AM before you even get out of bed then have high protein breakfast because protein helps amphetamine cross the blood brain barrier then take your vyvanse, if you have coffee in the morning make sure you drink it before the vyvanse kicks in otherwise you could have a major anxiety attack then save the Xanax for as soon as you feel the comedown from vyvanse. If you take Xanax before or while vyvanse is peaking you'll kill both the vyvanse and it's pointless. Zoloft like any anti depressant should be taken around the same time eberydayn This is what has worked for but again be very self aware of what your playing with and be honest with yourself with dosage. My best advice from being on this combo for a while is lay off the Xanax and only use it for emergencies (IE panic attacks) if you use it for general daily anxiety or to sleep its very easy to become dependent and that's a slippery slope to addiction. Do some research on what makes vyvanse (dextroampetimine) more effective and add those things do your daily routine like staying away from acidic drinks during the day (a glass of OJ will almost completely nullify my vyvanse) start taking in lots of protein like protein shakes and drink tons of water

You shouldn't take those two drugs together. Vyvance is basically the same thing as Dexedrine except it is somehow bonded with the amino acid lysine. Basically that means that after it goes into your liver, the amino acid is removed and you are left with the active ingredient of Vyvanse, which is "Dextroamphetamine" It's designed that way to try and stop abuse of the drug, because the drug won't work if someone were to snort it to try and get high. Basically I'm saying that it's probably not a good idea, it would be the same as doubling up on your Dexedrine.

NO! well to be honest it depends on the person for me when i drank monster (lo-carb) on vyvanse I feel the negative side effects such as the dry mouth and shakes, anxiety etc, the caffiene causes these side effects from what I know since i've been fine with just vyvanse alone. be weary of your decisions

You are not alone on this. I've only been on Vyvanse for the three days and I've had two Lucid Dreams in a row that have happened completely on impulse. If you are having too many strange dreams though, I would recommend you talk with your doctor. But yes, strange vivd dreams, nightmares, and even memorable Lucid Dreams are perfectly normal to have while taking over 20 milligrams of Vyvanse.

I took Vyvanse around 8pm for a heavy night of studying, around 12:30 I took a clindamycin because I have a tonsil infection and i need to take it 4 times a day. At about 1:30 am I started having acute stomach pain. But I also drank a creatine powder with water around 11:00 pm. I took some Tums and have been drinking a lot of water. However, it remains and it is 2:15 am. Not a doctor, but based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend it since it hurts pretty bad. But that is all I have had to eat or drink since dinner at 7 pm. Interpret this as you may.

they may say it is, but it may not appear that way to you. It did not for me. Im back on Adderall. This is only my opinion. From what I can gather, you need 2.6 times more vyvanse than adderall so if you were honestly taking 60mg of adderall, theoretically you'd need to take a whopping 200mg of vyvanse to equal the power. I more so assume that he's one: trying to make more money by prescribing the newer more expensive pill. Two: he might be trying to curb possible abuse in the area, or trying to make a healthier choice by trying to fight personal dependency by using less powerful amphetamines over a longer time.

Please try to answer both questions because I can't imagine not having soda for possibly years! Also, I don't think this affects my question, but I've had two side effects with this. One is fever, and I checked with a doctor, and he just said take Tylenol and rest. It isn't serious, just a regular fever from the pill. Also, I'm talking a lot more. Serious Side Effects and Serious Concerns, but still on Vyvance

I am a 24 year old girl who has tried a number of ADD medicines, including ritalin, adderall, and concerta. Vyvance has been the only ADD medicine I have taken on a regular basis, so I can't accurately desribe the side effects of the others or compare them.

I weigh 118 pounds and was started on 60mg. The first day I took Vyvance I could have sworn I just blew a gram of cocaine (and I would know). The feeling was EXACTLY the same, it was scary. I did notice that it says all over the packaging that people with a former drug addiction should not take the drug, and now I know it's because it feels uncannily similar to the feeling of being on a lot of cocaine. The coming off effects were not as dramatic though.

I was taking the medicine at 9AM and wasn't able to sleep until 3 or 4 so I asked my doctor for a lower dose. BTW when speaking with my doctor, I discovered that Vyvance is made by the same people who make adderall. I am very familiar with pharmaceutical companies and know that when a drug starts to lose its patent, it will play with the doses and molecules to basically create the same drug but file a different patent to protect its rights. Since Vyvance is twice the dose of adderall, I think it is just half as strong which is why you would take twice as much.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Heart: I am scared to death that I am going to over exert myself so I have cut physical activity out of my life while taking Vyvance. I am worried that if I increase my heart rate, I might have a heart attack or something.

Vision: I have noticed blurry vision if I stay awake after 12AM.

Mood: I am incredibly anti-social, intensely focused, moody, irratible, snap at people easily, but even weirder I have had the first suicidal thought of my life on Vyvance. I can honestly say I am a very happy person and never actually considered suicide, the first week I took Vyvance, I noticed myself conjuring these thoughts of my death and memorializing myself and what people would say at my funeral. THIS REALLY FREAKED ME OUT. I am constantly in a bad mood, but I am taking Vyvance so I can get my work done, which it is accomplishing amazingly.

Appetite: After switching to 30mgs which I currently take (and am on right now), I was happy to find the appetite suppressing qualities remained, which any 24 year old girl can appreciate. However, I found myself becoming aneorexic, (which really is defined as less than X calories per day), as I was probably consuming between 500-800. for example, I have not eaten lunch for the past 3 weeks and am finding that I don't enjoy food as much and am eating because i know I need the nutrition. I did notice that if I had to force myself to eat, the only thing I could remotely find appetizing are bagels or other carb heavy means, have no idea why though.

Based on the experience I have had, I am very concerned that children are prescribed this medicine. It does allow me to focus on my work, which it great, but the negative personality effects are dramatic and out of character. I went from being a happy cheery person to insanely focused on my work and unable to tear myself away from it, and being grumpy and unpleasant to be around. I notice that i don't want to talk to anyone.

IF YOU NOTICE IRRATIBILITY, ANGER, OUT-OF-CHARACTER BEHAVIOR PLEASE BE WARNED. I felt the same symptoms and if there are more similiarities with your child and my experience, I don't think children are capable of handling it. I think its good for adults though that can differentiate normal behavior and irration thoughts.
