Some attractions have huge capacity � almost more than the holding area. Don�t wait in line for attractions with huge capacity, like the Liberty Belle Riverboat. You can arrive at the last minute and still get on. You�ll almost never have to wait for these rides and shows if you show up at the very last minute. When the line is short, just walk on. When you get to the attraction, ask the cast member how long until the attraction starts boarding or admitting guests. If it�s more than 15 minutes, take a rest room or snack break and come back. Be sure you have time to finish your snack, because you won�t be able to take it in with you. Here�s a list: At the Magic Kingdom, in Liberty Square: The Hall of Presidents, Liberty Belle Riverboat. At Epcot: The Circle of Life and Food Rocks(except during mealtimes). Also, at the World Showcase: Reflections of China, The American Adventure and O Canada! At Disney MGM Studios, Sounds Dangerous and Backlot Tour At the Animal Kingdom, Flights of Wonder. Keep an eye out for rides that load continually (they keep loading people without stopping, except when they temporarily stop the ride to load a handicapped person). For example, in the Magic Kingdom, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (a.k.a. TTA; formerly known at the WEDWay People Mover), rarely has a wait. In EPCOT, Spaceship Earth loads the same way; although the lines can get a bit long in the morning, if you wait until afternoon or evening you could very well walk right on. There are many other examples, also; again, just keep an eye out! Also, at Epcot, Journey into Imagination with Figment never has any wait time, and it will cool you off from the heat too!

There are three sections to Downtown Disney (from east to west): The Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and West Side. The Marketplace has many Disney-themed shops such as Goofy's Candy Company and the World of Disney (the largest Disney store in the world). There are also several restaurants including Earl of Sandwich, Rainforest Cafe, Ghirardelli, Fulton's Crabhouse, TRex, and Cap'n Jack's. There is also a Lego store with giant Lego sculptures, water fountains for children to play in, a small outdoor theater, a carousel, and a small train for kids to ride. Next to Cap'n Jack's is a dock where boats come to transport visitors to the other areas of Downtown Disney as well as to Saratoga Springs resort and spa, Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside resorts, and Old Key West Resort. The other two areas of Downtown Disney do not have boats going to the resorts, they only make the circuit around Downtown Disney.

Pleasure island used to be full of nightlife activities including a variety of dance clubs and night clubs. More recently, they have begun to switch the clubs for more shops and restaurants, but they still have DJs and stilt walkers come out along the pathway in the evening and interact with the crowds. Some shops that are up and running are Harley Davidson, and Curl (a surf and clothing shop), as well as several restaurants such as Paradiso 37, Raglan Road, and Cooke's of Dublin.

On the West Side there are a lot of awesome forms of entertainment including a five-story indoor virtual amusement park called Disney Quest, a show by Cirque du Soleil called La Nouba, and AMC 24 theater. There are also a lot of restaurants including Bongos Cuban Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, House of Blues, and Planet Hollywood. There is also a new offering here where people can pay around $16 to be lifted high in the sky (400 feet) in Characters in Flight, a large helium balloon. The view is supposed to be amazing in the evening. There are also more shops such as the Candy Cauldron, Magnetron, galleries, and of course, more Disney merchandise.

Well, Disneyland (in California) came first. The reason why he started making Disney parks was because of an experience he'd had. He was at an amusement park with his family, and while he was watching his kids on the carousel, he realized that he and Lillian weren't doing anything. The kids were the only ones having fun all over the park. He wanted a park where the whole family could have fun together. Disneyland was a smash success, so he started work on Walt Disney World in Florida so that people who couldn't go all the way to California could have fun at a Disney park. Unfortunately, he died before it (which only consisted of Magic Kingdom at the time) opened October 1, 1971.

The model is (was) at One Mans Dream recently but it has been known to be moved to California and for EPCOTs 25th anniversary they temporarly moved it to the front entrance of the park.

The production workers in the factories only earn $0.15 for every $17.99 shirt they sew. Also some suffer from sore throats and skin allergies from maufacturing the toys. They work about 12 - 16 hours a day with only one break, for lunch. If they don't meet the production quota, they have to do unpaid overtime and go a day without a lunch break.
