Pull hose off bottom of pump to drain coolant then remove fan shroud, pull pass side tire, remove starter, get to for locking flywheel, remove fan then harmonic balancer, then remove bolts careful to remember placement of these bolts. If all else fails hire mechanic to come over and watch while you drink beer while he's cussing lol.

It means that your engine oil is mixing in with your radiator fluid. You probably have water in your oil too. I would take it in and have it fixed.

If you have to ask you aren't up to the task. If you are checking what a mechanic told you then you should find another one you feel you can trust.

It could be something as simple as air getting in through a loose fitting on the pump housing. Make sure both connectors are hand tight.

Allow 2 hours which includes removal and refitting cambelt. Best to renew cambelt at the same time so budget for belts and followers.

A deep well water pump is installed by mounting it in a weather resistant housing next to the well and running power to it. The hoses can then attached to either side of the pump and the pump tested for efficiency.

I can confirm that this is a very common problem with this car! I have a 2005 Peugeot 107, and recently heard what sounded like a rattling noise coming from the engine. Turns out my water pump was knackered and costs about 140 quid to replace. However, the garage told me it would take two weeks to replace the part as there was a backlog of orders for that particular part - when I rang three Peugeot dealerships to confirm, they said the problem is that common they often run out!

its only on the auxillary belt so take it of but take of the powersteering pulley off and theres 3 torques taket the out and take off the tensioner then all the pins will be shown then replace it you have to take the engine off the mounts tho and jack up the engine but watch the clerance on the battery

I had to re- torque mine, and I think they were at 35-38ft/lbs. I went up to 42 ft/lbs and they didn't strip. I still had to replace the gaskets.

Normal flow, short nose GM aluminum water pump for a GM big block engine, such as 427. Vintage dated pumps like that were used on the legendary ZL1 engine back in '69. It is still produced by GM. I have one in 2002.

They all vary but your local auto parts store will be able to give you the right one if you provide them the make a model. You can buy a generic one or the original factory installed one.

Caution:On models with a Delco Loc 2 or Theftlock audio system be sure the lockout feature is turned off before proceeding * Disconnect the negative battery cable * Drain the cooling system * Remove the cooling fan then remove the serpentine drivebelt 2.2L OHV Engine * Remove the water pump pulley from the front of the water pump * Remove the coolant reservoir hoses * Detach the water pump retaining bolts and remove the pump from the vehicle 2.3L And 2.4L OHC Engines * Disconnect the oxygen sensor harness connector * Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands * Remove the exhaust manifold brace and loosen the exhaust manifold bolts * Remove the radiator outlet pipe assembly to the water pump housing bolts and separate the assembly from the engine * Remove the exhaust manifold pipe from the exhaust manifold * Remove the radiator outlet pipe from the oil pan.On manual transaxles cars remove the exhaust manifold brace and keep the radiator inlet hose attached to the assembly.Pull down on the radiator outlet pipe in order to disengage the pipe from the water pump while leaving the radiator outlet pipe hanging * Lower the car remove the brake booster vacuum hose from the camshaft housing also remove the exhaust manifold from the cylinder head * Remove the timing chain cover from the engine * Remove the timing chain tensioner * Remove the water pump cover bolts from the engine block and the timing chain housing * Remove the water pump bolts and separate the assembly from the housing

More than likely you will not have heat being the water wont be circulating through the heater core , When the hot water passes through the heater coil the air passing through the heater coil makes heat blow out the vents when you have selected a heat setting on your controls.

if the water pump is bad most vehicles have a wheep hole as a sort of warning. if this is the case replace the water pump and any seals relating.

there are types of A/S units that have both heating water pumps and chilled water pumps in the same unit. specifically model # AYB 60-180. Your question needs to be more specific.

not an easy job if your not a mechanic. the water pump is located behind the timing belt. you have to pull apart all the stuff from that area including the crankshaft bolt (removable only with pnumatic tools its vey tight) hope this helps
