The RSVP card and its envelope are mailed with the invitation.

Money is actually a better way for all those concerned. It is easier for the guests to give money than to go through pages of registered gifts at different stores and it also gives the Bride/Groom to be the money to buy the things they need or save it towards their honeymoon or a home.

You can put .... 'In lieu of gifts a money tree will be set up at the reception entrance.' Be sure you have someone there looking after the money tree and also being sure the guests put their envelopes with money on the tree while they sign in on the Wedding Registration book.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When asking for money you should go to a craft store and buy small colored envelopes (your choice of color) and slip it into each invitation along with the Invitation for RSVP (seeing which guests are coming and how many.) This is a great way for people giving money to give it without being embarrassed as not all people can afford a lot of money. You won't know who gave you what unless it is a family member and they will generally give it to you in private.

A money tree can be made out of anything, but resembles a tree. At any craft store one can get fancy little clothes pegs to attach the gift envelope onto the tree. It is important to know that some people may still give you a gift so have your Maid of Honor be sure to put what gifts certain people gave on the wedding card when you are opening your gifts

well most mothers give the bride "toys" as some people say for their hunnymoon and others just get sexy stuff for her to wear when they r ready to go to sleep and the list goes on but most stuff they give the bride dirty and noughty stuff.

you can definetly have a cheap wedding. No problem. But makin it a great wedding, depends on various things. * do you have family members who can cook well ( & have time to?) * what sort of dress you would like. ( I would prefer something simple but very elagant, nothing too drastic, even if you had all the money in the world) * Where is the location? ( now that its getting colder, outdoor weddings are kind of iffy, but in a small church, relatives, beautiful home, anything like that. * decorations You'd be surpised out how cheap you can find decorations. Be sure to spend a big chunk of your budget to flower arrangements, that's the biggest part. little cheap stores have tall white candles, or craft stores, depending on the colors of the flowers, you can buy imbrordery, ribbons, beads etc. to decorate them with a hot glue gun. If your really TIGHT on budget. Husband can always rent a tux.

The maid of honor's job is to be the bride's best friend. As her closest friend, you should continue doing all the things that a best friend has always done. Be there for her when she needs you, listen if she has problems, help her if you can, get excited with her over what is going on in her life, etc.

Typically, a MOH chooses to throw a shower or bachelorette party, and she will typically choose to help the bride with a few wedding tasks. While not required duties, these are nice things that you should do for your best friend if you can.

You will probably also need to sign the marriage license, and you can give a toast or a speech at the reception if you want to.

The "modern" first anniversary gift on all the lists is a clock. I know it must be embarrassing to just tell someone to come, like your boss. But just accidentally bring it up, and he'll ask who's the lucky man. Then tell him he could come if he'd like. He won't regret, it would be very disrespectful of him. You have accidentally bring it up, by getting caught calling him, or talking with a customer you've know for a while about it, and letting your boss/manager hear behind your back. There is so many other ways to bring it up. Like make and excuse about why you came back late from your lunch break. Say you had a meeting about the wedding plans. Your boss will understand, and at the same time he'll be curious about it, and he might as questions, then you can invite. By the way, why do you even want to invite your boss. Did your almost husband, or husband tell you too, or did you think he'd be like left out if you didn't invite him, or that it would be disrespectful not to invite him for such an important event. Yes, Sunday dress (church clothes), cocktail dress (semi-formal party clothes) and business casual attire are all appropriate to wear to a wedding unless the bride and groom specify black or white tie (evening gowns and tuxedos).
