Wellbutrin and Zyban

I have taken Wellbutrin XL 300 mg and Adderall XR 20 mg and I did feel the adderall work. Personally Wellbutrin has never done anything for me. After 4 months of being on it my physician and I decided to switch to Adderall XR 20. This is the second day I have been taking Adderall and I accidentally took my Wellbutrin out of habit and I have not felt any different then yesterday. Adderall is a great drug. I'm on day two and I'm very very optimistic about the future. However if you are older and/or have had heart problems and/or ceasures this could be a fatal mistake. Be careful when mixing drugs but if your young and your just trying to get high then you'll be just fine. Personally I would do the xanax separate from the others just because xanax is so intense that you wouldn't even feel the effects of the other drugs. Good luck, Be safe, and Have fun!!!

"High" can mean different things to different people. Snorting 4 or 6 thin lines affects me like a stimulant, increasing my energy and alertness significantly. When I snort 150 mg within a couple hours in the morning it keeps me energetic and alert for the rest of the day. Ive also found that it curbs my appetite.

Because of the harshness to the nasal tissues, I snort very thin, short lines. It seems to work well for me.

I take Lexapro 30 mg, Lamictal 200 mg and Wellbutrin XL 300 mg. I am doing fine and have few unpleasant side effects.

Was treated with antidepressants exclusively until I had run through them all to the max dosages and was absolutely flat on my back out of my mind crazy. It took 6 months for us to get to this mix that is working great for me.

The discussion with regard to drug interactions not occurring probably only refers to the blood levels and elimination rates.

The drug in Wellbutrin is also used for smoking cessation therapy, which is a different issue when talking about drug interactions than for how the drugs might interact when Wellbutrin is being used for depression.

Chantix has been in the news lately (CBS) as causing some users with no previous depression to commit suicide, so if I were you I would not fool with Chantix. Too many X factors.

Will you test positive for what exactly? If you mean illicit substances like methamphetamine, or other psychostimulants or even narcotics--then probably not. You shouldn't be concerned about a failed drug profile assessment (testing positive) while taking this drug. If you are going to attempt to join the military, know that Strattera's only indication is ADD/ADHD for children, teens and adults in the US and other countries abroad. this may raise red flags for recruiters telling them you have a diagnosis of ADHD. Other psychiatric disorders will also disqualify you from duty. I'm only saying this since there is high comorbidity among having ADHD and other disorders. I know this disqualification to be true in the US, but am not sure about other countries policies. Otherwise, most tests will only scan for a handful of substances. None. Xanax is prescription benzodiazepine. No herbal supplement will give you the same feeling. There is a product called herbal xanax, but it is nothing like the prescription pill. You can try Kava-Kava root or Valerian Root to help you sleep/relieve anxiety. My favorite way to take Valerian is in the tea brand name Sleepy Time EXTRA (Blue box. Found at trader joes, or your local health food store)

Advil Cold and Sinus is ibuprofen (NSAID analgesic) with pseudoephedrine/phenylephrine (nasal decongestant; the active ingredient in Sudafed), and Tylenol PM is acetaminophen (analgesic) with diphenhydramine (sleep aid; the active ingredient in Benadryl). Combining ibuprofen and acetaminophen is a little redundant, but perfectly safe. Both also have no significant reaction with either diphenhydramine or pseudoephedrine. Some people do report different reactions to both diphenhydramine and pseudoephedrine: some people are sedated by both, and some report excitability. Be sure to note your personal reactions for future reference.

Note that you'd probably save some money and take fewer unneccesary drugs by purchasing generic versions of each drug separately -- ibuprofen, acetaminophen, diphenhydramine, and pseudoephedrine. The first two are for pain (you can opt for the one you prefer), the third is for insomnia, and the fourth is for nasal congestion. That way, you can take only what you need.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with Wellbutrin. But I would recommend that you speak to your prescriber or pharmacist before taking prescribed medication with birth control.

If it is regular xanax yes you can but check with your pharmacist 1st. But if it is Xanax XR or ER you can not. XR/ER stands for extended release. Extended-release medications should never be cut, chewed, crushed or dissolved. In most cases, tampering with the tablet damages the mechanism by which the medication is released and you could end up with an overdose because too much is released into your system at once

as with all anxiety or depression you need to slowly drop mg until you can drop all together. taking by half,cut pill numbers or cut the pills in half or quarters. that's how i got off them.

Funny I should stumble upon this question. I have been taking Darvocet for approximately 3 years. I have a crooked spine which causes me daily back, neck and head pain. It's not bad enough yet for me to have surgery, but bad enough that I'm not benefiting from physical therapy. Therefore, Darvocet has been a life-saver for me.

I also suffer from mild "seasonal affective disorder". Around the beginning to middle of September (when the weather starts to get colder), I fall into a complete slump. Unable to get motivated, I feel like staying in bed all day. I also get rapid panic attacks at the onset of the changing of the seasons. Last year, my doctor prescribed Prozac for the S.A.D., and said that I could take it for the winter months and discontinue it once the fall and winter months were over. This worked wonders for me, and I continued using it until the end of April. The only downside to this was that I experienced a significantly decreased libido.

With fall rolling around again, I found myself back into the same slump as last year. I went to my doctor and asked him if there was something similar to Prozac that wouldn't affect my libido as much. He prescribed Lexapro. He did say that while this drug may also lower my libido, it shouldn't be as bad as the Prozac because the usual needed dosage is much lower.

I asked him how the Lexapro and Darvocet would mix, and he said that I shouldn't have a problem with the two as long as I'm not abusing either drug (i.e., taking too much Darvocet just to get "high". Which I don't.)

One of my main concerns with taking the Darvocet and an anti-depressant was the risk of "serotonin syndrome". It's when too much serotonin is released into the bloodstream, causing a whole range of unpleasant symptoms. I asked him about this as well, and he said that almost ALL of the cases of serotonin syndrome came from people who severely abuse medication, and that these two medications will not cause this when taken as directed.

The Lexapro so far has worked wonders for me as well, without the decreased libido. I've been taking it with the Darvocet and have had no umpleasant side effects. I hope the Lexapro works for you, too! Takes a few weeks, but it really does start to help...A LOT! Just take the Darvocet and Lexapro at prescribed levels and you should do just fine on it!

Lexapro is an ssri while mirt is NaSSA Anti Depressent

I would not advise taking this combo. and if it was all from the same doc. then i would use caution. All three meds deal with the blocking of the reuptake of norepinephrine.

Tmoxicillin slows down the metabolism rate of wellbutrin. That means that after a while of taking both of them, there becomes a buildup of wellbutrin in your system and this can cause problems or in my case a seizure on the 10th day of taking them both. Bad idea.
