^this person is right in a sense, werewolves are fiction, but Lycans are not. we cannot transform, but we have senses that heighten at the full moon. If you want to give a present to a human who says he's a wolf, try a pendant with the moon on it or try something to do with wolves. Google "alchemy jewelry" as they have a good selection of wolf jewelry, as well as other kinds. Also, werewolves aren't mean, just misunderstood..

Lycanthropes, werwolves, traditionally have few weaknesses. They are averse to wofsbane; it repells them to some extent. They can only be harmed by silver.

There are several "hexes" or spells that may work to keep them away or provide some sort of protection.

This incarnation of the wolfman never showed an upper limit to his strength. It can be assumed, however, that it would take sufficiant power to decapitate someone with one swing of your hand.(or paw in this case) Wolfman 2010 did this twice, once to a human man and on another occasion, knocked another werewolf's head clean off. Wolfman is also seen tossing a man at least ten feet away with no downward trajectory until the man hit a wall. He was also able to pull a man's arm off at the shoulder. These feats of strength would take the combined power of six to eight men. This means wolfman can easily lift 1 ton of weight from what we see in the movie

some vampires are faster then werewolves it depends on the vampire/werewolf. Vampires have always been faster than werewolves because vampires have wings. plain and simple. Werewolves have to actually use their legs to get around and that is why werewolves are more muscular than vampires. because they get more exercise.

You cannot make a werewolf in the traditional sense which is basically a polymorphic creature and the human body can not generate enough flesh, blood, bone, sinew, etc to be able to handle that kind of metamorphosis.

However, theoretically it is possible to introduce foreign DNA, like that of a wolf for example, into a human. You need to first isolate the gene (here's the first problem, since the Human Genome Project only just finished mapping OUR DNA) then using chemicals, cut away the specific gene sequence and insert it into an length of human DNA in the proper spot. This DNA can be replicated with relative ease, and then placed in a viral vector (a virus not harmful to humans) that will literally infect the existing cells with the new DNA code.

But what good would it do? Everything in the body works of of responses to proteins, and we wouldn't be able to tell if that protein sequence did anything for a while, or if our organs are capable of carrying out that specific coding and interacting with existing cells to create new organs.

To get an answer to this question, one would first need to provide a werewolf for a phlebotomy.**

Once such is donated, one must also provide a willing patient for a transfusion, after the extraction of the werewolf's blood. Only then can the tests be carried out, and results produced and published.

- Be born one

- Be cursed

Doubtful. Vampires and werewolves do not generally get along. With vampires acute sense of smell they would be able to tell a werewolf whether or not the moon was upon them. And would probably avoid drinking from them.

If your not a werewolf there ain't nothing to unlock. If you feel, as I do deeply, connected to wolves and their way of life then perhaps there is some hope for you. I find I'm fiercely protective of my friends especially the girls in my "pack". Loyalty is a top priority. I dunno try a few excersizes like snarling, baring your teeth and growling. It might feel wierd at first but I found I've started doing it whenever I'm annoyed or peeved. Whenever a growl comes it should be impromptu and come naturally. A snarl is usually saved for the occasion when your temper flares momentarily. The teeth baring for me often happens when I'm at the end of my rope. These behaiviours you'll find are consistent with dogs too. You're as big and bad as you feel and as long as you can back that up with some serious skill well, I'm sure you'll unlock your inner wolf real soon.
