Nope. Can't do that in Windows Movie Maker. There are only two tracks in the program to use audio and video on. You need at least three tracks to do what you are asking.

As far as I know, you can't. If you had a lot of work done in Movie Maker, you may consider rendering (saving the movie file) in Movie Maker and importing the video into Premiere.

The best way would be to start over, you'll still have all of the media you need to make it again.

Resulting effectiveness of a Windows Movie Maker project is dependent on the creator's creativity.

Try Publishing/Finishing the video clip instead of just 'saving' the project file. Sometimes that helps. Otherwise, download the Youtube clip again and make sure the file is not corrupt before importing it into your project.

In Windows Movie Maker, I would suggest using the Auto Movie feature to add effects automatically to 280 slides.

Copy and paste the picture into your documents, or right click and save it to your documents. Then open Windows Movie maker, and and click import picture. It will upload the picture into Moive maker, and then you just drag it into the slides :)

You can't play unsupported file extensions in Windows Movie Maker. You have to convert the file to a format compatible with the program.

There are two tracks of audio for Windows Movie Maker. One track for the audio in the video you imported and another to add sound effects or a musical overlay. If you want to have both a musical overlay and sound effects, you just have to create your video with the music overlay or sound effects that you want first. Then, re-import the completed video with the sound effects or music overlay on it, and you'll you have fresh audio track to add whatever you want again. This is a "dirty" way to add as many sound tracks as you want using Moviemaker.

I don't know of a specific site that only has AVI file formats. Most sites (like YouTube, etc.) use a broader spectrum of formats. All you need is a converter to change file formats to AVI if that's what you want.

As a matter of fact, I believe YouTube Downloader has a converter built right into the program.

The closest counterpart to Windows Movie Maker on an iMac is iMovie.

As far as I know, you can only install plug-ins on Windows Live Movie Maker version.

You have to Split the video in order to add a title screen to it.

Find the spot you want to stop the video and add a title screen.

> Click on the second portion of the video
> Click Titles and Credits - Choose: Title before selected clip
> Now, add your title screen text in the space provided
> Make any color,font, animation adjustments
> Then click Add Title

The title screen should appear in between the Split video. Adjust it as you see fit.
