Depending on the daily dosage and the length of time one has been taking them, the withdrawal symptoms can be quite severe and very unpleasant. It's recommended tapering off gradually to minimize any withdrawal symptoms.
I have to add to this answer that is not the "unpleasant symptoms" you have to worry about. it is extremely dangerous to just stop taking any Benzodiazapine. Yes you will feel horrible but when you just STOP taking them your blood pressure goes up. You will most likely have a seizure at best or have a fatal stroke. It is nothing to fool around with. If you need to stop taking them it should be in the hospital in a detox center, that is the only safe way to stop taking any Benzo.
Since I'm sure you read Methadone and Xanax is commonly a lethal combination, I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you have a prior high tolerance to heroin or Oxycontin AND Methadone, as well as experience with Xanax.
I've taken 10mg of Methadone and 1mg of Xanax a few times and it was perfect. Then again, I had a tolerance to 80-120mg of Oxycontin, a tolerance of up to 20mg Methadone (pill form, not the liquid) and took 1mg of Xanax with it and was perfectly okay.
I really don't recommend this to anyone since everybodys different, but I've known several tolerant people who have done this and have been okay. However, if you do not have tolerance to any of these medications, I would definitely take them separately. I would wait at least wait 6 hours before taking Xanax after your Methadone dose, or vice-versa if you absolutely must.
Take care!
Hypothyroidism would have no effect on your tattoo, and conversely, your tattoo would have no effect on your thyroid gland.
First of all, let me state unequivocally that this question bothers me. If you are suicidal please go to the emergency room or seek professional help AT ONCE! It will pass, trust me.
The fact of the matter is that it is nearly impossible to overdose on any benzodiazepine medication alone--these meds were intentionally designed this way. They were used to replace barbiturates, which had a very narrow gap between an effective dosage and overdosage.
It is VERY common, however, to overdose when combining benzodiazepines with other drugs such as alcohol, opiates, barbiturates, or even cocaine. They are also very addictive and must be used with care and for no longer than your doctor recommends. Studies have shown that over 6-8 weeks of continued usage will lead to dependency. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO QUIT THESE MEDS "COLD TURKEY!" Have your doctor gradually step down your dosage or seizures and other bad things can and do occur.
A doctor would never prescribe these drugs together except under extreme conditions which don't allow for other sedatives/pain management.
As for recreational use, this combination of drugs has been recently dubbed the Heath Ledger Cocktail, as this mixture (in low doses, mind you, was the cause of the actors sudden death. Death leading from this drug-drug interaction is more common in the elderly and anyone with depressed circulatory or central nervous conditions.
So, if this is a recreational question, the answer is yes and no. I've known people that have used signifcant amounts of each separately, and eventually they combined them. But that's not to say that they weren't playing Russian Roulette.
I won't say that it 'interacts' with it because you're not going to have an allergic reaction...BUT, they may counteract the effects of each other. What I mean is if you take levothyroxine, you obviously have a thyroid problem...I'm guessing hypothyroidism. That, itself, can make you tired. Levothyroxine is supposed to correct it somewhat and when hormone is replaced adequately, many of your symptoms, including fatigue, should improve. However, if you are suffering from anxiety or panic attacks and take a benzodiazepine, like xanax or klonopin, that is going to calm down things in the brain and yes, they will make you sleepy. What you have here is the need for energy with the contradictive need to stay calm. The medications are pulling in separate directions. I'm speaking from experience because I take levoxyl and klonopin and just recently had to lower one and increase the other...so its not surprising I'm tired! If you increase the benzo, you will probably feel extra tired until your body adjusts. It's hard to find balance if you have 2 or more conditions that require such different medications. Sorry to ramble, but in short, the answer is no, it won't interfere with the absorption of levothyroxine, but you may not get the energy you want if you have to take something to keep you calm.
From a medical standpoint, they are both Benzodiazepines which block GABA receptors.
They can be taken together safely under medical supervision by your doctor.
From a street stand point, these drugs are that of abuse and can develop an addiction.
But to anSwer shortly, someone I know is on both right now with no problems at all.
xanax stay in your system for it least 30 days even one of whatever miligram xanax you take
They should take it if they have a fever, if they have a headache, or if they have any muscle soreness. Also, aspirin lowers blood pressure, so some people take a baby aspirin a day to keep their blood pressure down.
Once I've had 3 x 2mg tri-score xanax...i was fine...well a little high...but then it puts me to sleep. what a waste...i had a friend who took 20 x 2mg in 3 days with beers...unfortunately for him...he died of cardiac arrest...so becarefull guys...i think xanax only meant to calm you down when you have a panic attack...but lately I've been having 1 or 2 every 4 / 5 hours...only because I'm really depressed at the moment...i thought about killing myself...i had 2, then another 2 in the next half hour, then another 2 not long after...it only puts me to sleep for about 45 mins...but it helped me think about killing myself...so it's kinda good in a bad way...that's my prerogative
I'm not really sure my doc gave me the zoloft for anxiety and Xanax for panic attacks and the amitriptlyne for sleep. I took it once and next day thought I was on my death bed! So my recommend NO!
It is certainly not recommended to change medications without consulting a doctor.
However, Xanax and Valium have Cross-tolerance. So if there is not an alternative then substituting Valium for Xanax is medically acceptable. And because Xanax can not be stopped "cold turkey" drug substitution is important.
This is dangerous . Snorting Valium is bad for you. When you snort Valium, you increase the chances for negative and adverse side effects to happen. Side effects from snorting :
fatigue
difficulty breathing
irregular heart beat
loss of concentration
nausea and diarrhea
overdose
ulceration of the mucous membrane of the nose
seizures
tremors
If you have a prescription, there would be no punishment.,
Doxylamine succinate is one of the many sedating antihistamines used by itself as a short-term sleep aid, in combination with other drugs as a night-time cold and allergy relief drug
It depends on the urine test that is given. Some facilities spend more money on the type of test that is given. So to answer your question, it is a possibility that it can show up different. I give drug tests out at my job so I know this for a fact.

Yes you can take another xanaz after four hours cause you have already taken one four hours ago.
But if you have an addicted personality you shouldn't take any strong pills like xanax because you might get addicted faster. Or you can ask your doctor to put you on something else that's not to strong but helps with your pain.
Yes.
A few years ago my doctor was prescribing me both at the same time. (Xanax for PTSD and codeine for pain, each to be taken several times daily.)
Im not certain but i think the chemical makeup is changed. I know that it will have a very similar effect as taking it orally, only stronger. If you were to do this i would recommend starting with only .25mgs. However smoking pills of any kind is horrible for your lungs, and is not something that should be done often.
