Apparently it works very well, my mom and my brothers friend both have 3g hotspots and live works fairly well. With 4g it will be an improvement, plus the verizon 4g lte works with 3g as well so you will still be able to play in areas that only get 3g coverage. I ordered one for me because my dad has hughesnet which does not work for anything

you take the ethernet cord out of the back of your xbox 360. Or if you have the wireless network addapter you just unplug it from the back of the xbox 360.

You can go into a game retailer and buy a Xbox live membership card. As you sign up, select redeem code and enter the code you got with the card. Simple as that.

No you still have your old gamer tag game score and profile. but when you create a new profile you have to create a new gamer tag becouce its a new profile and after you finish creating your new profile you can switch between the the two profiles on your xbox your old one with your original gamer tag and your new one with your new gamer tag so over all you lose none of your old data but you now have 2 different separate profiles that can not effect one and other one bit .

Basically, Xbox Live Gold is the paid version of XBL, and it allows you to play multiplayer online and chat with friends. Xbox Live Silver is free once you hook up your 360 to the internet. It allows you to have friends, but does NOT let you play online or speak to people.

i don't fully understand your question but if your talking about playing a game that says you can play it on live but you want to just play it without going on live like a career mode or something then yes. But, if your asking can i play my game on live without being conected to live then no off course not. Also some games allow you to play games that are live games but you don't have 2 be on live so you can play some live games without being on live but you won't beable to play against acual people or talk to anyone.

You don't need to buy a silver card as silver is free when you create an account it automatically goes to a silver. If you want to upgrade your account you will have to buy a gold.
