To be honest, it really depends on what shape the card is in, and what edition. Its many reprints has devalued it, plus it is not a particularly competitive card anyway, reducing the price further. A mint condition, 1st edition Ultra Rare from Labyrinth of Nightmare could probably fetch around £5 from a collector. Reprints and less than mint condition ones will be cheaper.

I don't think that's a real font. I think it's just a custom font they used.

Yes, indeed it is a card game. It is almost similar to Magic the Gathering which is also a collectible Trading Card Game.

For basic Game parts here's what I can give you. Player: Depending on your game rule, there can be 2 to 4 players dueling.

Lifepoints: Normally, 8000 is the Lifepoint of each Dueler. In Anime, the LifePoint were 2000 then change to 4000 in Battle City and so on and so forth. so basically Lifepoint for me can be altered depending to what the two players agreement. in our neighborhood, 8000 is what we have agreed to be our starting Lifepoint. LifePoint is actually the players Life in the Duel. the Duelist may receive damage in a lot of ways. He can pay lifepoints for an activation of effect, take direct damage from an opponent's monster, take Differential Damage, or take Magic or Trap Card effect damage.

All in all, the Life point is the life of the player. when it's 0 you loose. when you make your opponent's lifepoint 0, you win.

Deck: Is the compilation of cards of a Duelist which he will use in the duel. It has a minimum of 40 cards and can be as many as the Duelist like. however, the more number of cards you have in your deck, the less likely to draw the card you need in it. The other deck is the Fusion Deck. which is basically the compilation of the fusion monsters that is needed by the Duelist.

Field: Field is where you duel. It's parts are 2 deck zone (one for each player), 2 graveyards (one for each player), 2 Field Magic Card zone (one for each player, 2 Fusion Deck Zone (one for each player), 10 Monster Card Zone (5 for each player) and 10 Magic or Trap card zone ( 5 for each player). Also, provide a place for those cards which will be removed from play because of card effects.

Some Cards needs Tokens and Dices also.

For gameplay, dueler takes turn alternately. Each turn is consist of phases:

Draw Phase: a player draws a card for his deck.

Stand by Phase: a player does nothing but some cards take their effect in this phase.

Main Phase 1: a player summons a monster, set some cards on his side of the field.

Battle phase: if a player has a monster, he declares attack using his monsters on the field.

Main Phase 2: is only activated if he has declared battle phase. if not, then after Main phase 1 he should declare end phase.

End phase : is the end your a players turn and is also the start of the other player's turn.

Countering: at any time on your opponent's phase, you can activate Spell, Trap or monster effects but be careful that you did activate it correctly or else your opponent may declare it wrongly activated making it's effect invalid and directly send into the graveyard.

Spell speed is very important in counter because it is the main difference of Spell cards to Trap cards. all Magic or Spell Cards has spell speed 1 except for those who has an Icon of Quick Spell which has Spell Speed 2. All trap cards has spell Speed 2 except for those that has the Icon of Counter which has the highest of all at Spell Speed 3. the rule is you can't Counter a card that has higher spell speed than you. Only those who has lower or the same Spell speed as your card has. Magic Cards cannot be use for counter except for Quick spell ones (but in the anime, spell speed is not followed allowing the magic cards to be activated even on opponents turn). Spell Speed 1 cards are used only in your own turn and not in you opponent's turn. Spell Speed 2 and 3 can be used as counter cards.

in Yugioh, what is chain effect?

Unless specifically stated otherwise, a monster special summon method is for when it is in the hand only. So Treeborn Frog special summons itself from the graveyard because the effect says so. But Cyber Dragon special summons from hand - even though it does not say so, the hand is the default zone, it cannot special summon itself from the gfraveyard.

Likewise, Hardened Armed Dragon must be in your hand to use its special summon effect.

A Normal Summon is face-up attack mode, a regular Set is face-down defence mode. You cannot Normal Summon or Flip Summon into face-up defence position unless an effect like Light of Intervention lets/makes you.

Unless specified though, a Special Summon can be face-up attack or face-up defence position. However you can't special summon face-down unless an effect lets/makes you.

None, Black Luster Soldier was a card featured in the Yugi Revolution Starter Deck years ago. You can find it on many online market sites (ebay, amazon etc.)

If you mean Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, that was featured in Invasion of Chaos originally and can now be found in the Gold Series 4 packs, and also the Legendary Collection 2 (However BLS - Envoy of the Beginning is Forbidden in Traditional Format).

To get to the Labyrinth, you need to defeat at least two High Mages and obtain their Millenium Items. After you defeat them, if you go to the Dueling Grounds, Jono will alert you that Heishin and his mages have kidnapped Teana as bait. He will take you to Heishin's shrine where you will encounter the Labyrinth Mage after entering. If you defeat him, you will be given the option of going right or going left. If you choose the wrong option, you will encounter the Labyrinth Mage again. The correct order for the Labyrinth is: right, right, left, right.

i think that he is older probably in hiding because he is about 12-14 in the first season

then Yugioh GX took place 10 years later. i am thinking that 5ds is probably about 10-15 years later so Yugi is probably 39 at the latest.

It's not. Japan has finished the series, but the producers in America decided to skip season four and go straight to "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's". But, you can still watch the fourth season in "Dubbed Wersion" on "Youtube" or "Google Videos".

Normally, Five-Headed Dragon will always win over a Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, due to the 2000ATK difference.

However Blue-Eyes Shining can power itself up when there are dragons in its controller's graveyard. If there were 7, that would be 7x300 + 3000 = 5100ATK, high enough to destroy Five-Headed Dragon.

On Ebay as of 7/8/11, the prices ranges seem to differ from 1 to 15 USD. It depends on the condition of the card, as well as the rarity of the specific edition of Blue Eyes. Blue Eyes is a classic Yu-Gi-Oh card, one of the original 100 or so cards, and the prize is going to eventually rise because of the scarcity that came after Yu-Gi-Oh stopped printing such old cards.

The First Edition cards are more expensive because there are fewer of them. They only make one First Edition release and after that it's all unlimited. Fewer copies of something makes it more rare and hence, more valuable.

Solution

First Edition are somewhat more expensive because you get a little extra writing on the cards. Even from the original country Japan, they don't use 1st Edition cards because theirs no such thing. Either that or the cards I got were just Unlimited Edition Japanese cards anyway.

You should order it on a website or EBay. Make sure the back of the card is standard by comparing it with real cards. There are many bootlegged versions out there. Also, make sure that there is no plastic diamond holographic design over the front of the card. The card cannot be used in tournaments because Konami made a declaration saying so. The card is probably only of use for collectors because of its value in an auction, not the value of the card in a game.
