His most telling action was his response to the attacks on the US by terrorists in 9/11/01. Eventually he sent American troops into Iraq and Afghanistan and began a preemptive war which brought down the Iraqi government . He also signed bills that made large cuts in the income tax.

Bush had an amazing voluminous presidency.

*After the 9/11 attack he started a war in the Middle East, toppling Saddam and bringing some thread of democracy to Iraq. However, it did hurt the US budget and sent back body bags. So pluses and minuses.

*He passed the PATRIOT Act giving US police and intelligence gathering more tools but perhaps reducing privacy. So pluses and minuses.

* He passed PEPFAR giving money to fight the AIDS/HIV pandemic

* He established No Child Left Behind, which pushed schools to improve test grades for better or worse.

* He founded Medicare Part D to help seniors pay for prescription drugs

* He signed SORT to reduce Russia and the US's nuclear stockpile

* He signed the Stockholm treat on Persistent Organic Particles to reduce said particles

* He signed tax cuts to help people in the recession but it did hurt the US budget. So pluses and minuses

* He signed the Help America Vote Act to reduce polling problems

* He founded the Do-Not-Call Registry

* He passed the Prison Rape Elimination Act

* He passed the Unborn Victim of Violence Act, which provided legal recourse for the injury of a fetus, but was a hotly divided issue because of Roe v. Wade. So pluses and minuses.

* He signed the Energy Independence and Security Act to reduce dependence on fossil fuel

* He veto 2 Stem Cell bills for better or worse

All in all, his presidency covered major issues and 2 separate crises.

George Bush held his ground, stuck to his principles & kept Americans safe. Sounds crazy? Let me explain.

After 9/11, our immediate action in Afghanistan showed the rest of the world that America is not a nation to mess with and any destructive act against us will lead directly to retaliation.

Obama's infamous Failure To Act and intense insistence that anti-american nations (the ones trying to destroy us) get the same rights as American citizens have made America weak. So to add to our deficit, we now have every other country in the world laughing at us & seriously doubting our ability to pay back debt. This significantly lowers our political standing amongst the rest of the world. The fact that this current administration is calling terrorists "Political Activists" is a sign that this country is willing to take whatever you throw at us lying down. We're not gonna fight back, we're gonna give you the courtesy of Politically Correct, pleasant sounding titles. We will even fund the very terrorists planning the next attack.

"You kill 1 american, we kill 100 of you." - (I'm not sure who I got that quote from) But I like it. As harsh & inhumane as it may sound, that's the way it has to be. America has freedom not because we politely asked the British for it, but because we took it. We fought for it! Maybe Bush was crazy & bombed the hell out of a completely innocent country. Even if that was the case, the message to our enemies was profound. You're going to think twice before attacking the USA if you think they've got a crazy President who shoots first & asks questions later.

Some may call him an idiot, Some will call him great. The fact is when he was President, our country did not bow down to other foreign leaders. Our reputation of a powerful Country that's good to have on your side wasn't in question. Even in debt, the American Dollar held it's value. We were Americans with a strong Administration!

Now that we are abandoning our core principles, such as allowing Sharia Law to be applied in this country, fighting for the rights of illegal citizens etc. this weak administration has no way to instill hope & confidence of the financial stability of America to foreign investors.

Plain & Simple, the Obama admin has made us a perfect target. We have a weakening military, We are owned by China & like all great nations before they collapse, we've begun recklessly abandoning what it is that we stand for.

"CHANGE HAS COME TO AMERICA" ... "WE ARE NO LONGER A CHRISTIAN NATION" - President Obama

While I'm sure that George W. did some good things during his two terms as president, the ineptitude that colours his presidency far outweighs any good that he may have done. The man was a disaster.
