He united Greece and then conquered Asia minor known as modern day Turkey and freed the Greeks there from Persian yoke, what is now Iran, Persia, what is now Pakistan, parts of India and Afghanistan. Also Egypt and Syria.

Alexander the great invaded the Persian-ruled Asian Minor which is geographical region of Western Asia, also comprising most of the modern Republic of Turkey. After doing so he began series of campaigns that lead to last for ten years. He repeatedly defeated the Persians through battle, he also had his military march through Syria Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia, and Bactria. Throughout doing so he also defeated and overthrew Darius the third, the Persia King after doing so he conquered the entire Persian Empire.He later then tried to invade India but did not succeed thanks to the Indian King, and two other empires. Before he died he set up a plan to invade Arabia, but also never succeeded.

Alexander came from Macedonia , he then went from Greece in Europe to Asia, that is India and and on his way back he went to Africa where he died in Egypt.
