In this particular vehicle you will not be able to check the oil through a deep stick. You have to go underneath the body of the vehicle to check it. It's better to have you oil changed by a BMW dealership.
Ok the guy that wrote what u see above this, you need to be careful what you tell people to do. If its a sealed tranny it must go to a service center, because that means its also pressurized. So if you could really mess things up.
I have a 1994 Isuzu Trooper and it has issues upshifting at lower speeds. How do I check the fluid level in the transmission when there is no dipstick?
The transmission dip stick is right next to the oil dip stick. Transmission dipstick handle is red. Oil dipstick handle is yellow.
AUTO - There is a dipstick. Looks like a oil stick. Manual - There is a check plug in the side of the tranny
The transmission dipstick on a 1994 Pontiac Sunfire is located on the left side of the engine. It connects to the transmission via a long tube which also allows for adding transmission fluid.
For a 1994 Ford F-150 : The AUTOMATIC transmission fluid level dipstick is in the engine compartment , near the firewall , towards the passenger side of the engine compartment , where the transmission is bolted to the rear of the engine * the manual transmission does not have a dipstick
No, dipstick. Fluid level is checked through a plug on the side.
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , there will be a fill plug on the transmission underneath the vehicle
After you have driven the car and the transmission is hot, pull the dipstick out that says "Trans Fluid". It will be longer than the dipstick for the engine oil. You read it the same way as the oil dipstick using the holes at the bottom as level indicators.
it is on the passenger side near the rear of the engine like the oil dipstick
Add through transmission dipstick tube
Down the transmission dipstick tube.
Remove the dipstick for the transmission. Place funnel in the dipstick hole. Fill to the correct level.
