I play Online on Steam and Minecraft and one day I had bought the game Saints Row: Gat out of Hell and when I played it, it kept on saying Saints Row: Gat out of Hell has stopped working. What processor would you recommend for a small online gamer like me? How would I get it to work on a laptop, USB or charging port? Please include links and prices.
Great, I just saw it yesterday, I think it was about 5cm long and wide, ABOUT*.
The Intel quad core processor is super computer fast. It packs a 2GHz processing speed with a memory cache of 8M bytes and a CPU connection speed of 1.333 GHz. The Intel quad core became available in 2007.
This processor will play a big part in playing top end games yes but you will need a good graphics card also.

In general, Core 2 Duo are high performance processors, with two "CPUs on a chip" (that's the "core duo" meaning.
While Celeron processors are, generally, single core, low to medium performance, intended for budget to moderate mobile (laptop) use. Lower power, single CPU, less performance (but uses less battery power in that).
Note, having 2 cores is usually a plus, as the CPU has two 'brains' and can do two things at once. But some software is not two-core-aware, so in those cases the two cores wont really be used, and the chip will act like an older style single core.
Bottom line:
So if you need high performance, go for the Core 2 Duo (it will be at a higher price than Celeron, and will use more electrical current).
If performance is not a concern, but you need lower cost, or longer battery life, the Celeron may be a good choice.
Go to the control panel and in the search bar in the top right type in system. Then in the results click 'show how much RAM is installed' in this window it will show you what type of processor you have.
The Intel Atom (when paired with an appropriate chipset) is very good about not consuming a lot of power or generating much heat. Performance-wise, however, it falls far behind most modern processors. it has been compared to a 2.4 Ghz Pentium 4 at accomplishing most tasks.

Here is my personal experience with the Atom N270 cpu...
I purchased an eMachines em250 netbook which includes the Atom CPU. It came with Windo*s 7 starter (which I upgraded to Home Premium), and used for several months before switching to Ylmf-OS Linux. The computer does everything I need it to do, and performs quite well! The little CPU (with the Intel 945G based graphics) can handle 3D games fairly well, for example Freespace, Babylon 5:IFH, GLTron, and The Babylon Project. Web browsing is quite speedy, DVD playback from my external drive is smooth, as is video playback from any of the Tube sites, and Hulu. The Hulu stand alone application and Windows Media Center work OK, though the interface seems a little bit slow to respond at times.
Once I made the switch to Linux, I found that the CPU seemed to perform DRAMATICALLY better. Overall system responsiveness has improved by a factor of 4 times. The computer is hooked up to an external 24 inch HD display, and I can watch a movie on one screen while web surfing on the other one. Overall, I would rate the Atom as a very good value as CPUs go.
ALE signals means 'address latch enable' .If its value is 1,it enable the latch but doesn't store.
and when its value is 0 it store the contents of latch.
It depends on which pentium. The first pentiums had one execution unit. Later pentiums, such as the IV-HT, had two.
People DO want to upgrade, and it's much easier to upgrade from current technology, piece by piece. You also have to consider that new firmware must be tested thoroughly for a new processor, and often an OS or some software will not install on hardware it won't recognize, in case someone wants to install last year's software.
The Intel socket B has 1366 pins. It is also called LGA1366
The first processor to contain L2 (external) cache was the Intel Pentium Pro.
What do you mean? The memory stored on a computer is on the hard drive, or maybe you mean the "virtual" memory... the memory that is stored up on the process that is running on your computer currently, that's stored on the ram.
As far as I know, SiS, ViA and Intel all supply chipsets to the motherboard manufacturers, but they may not be the only ones.
Intel was incorporated on 3/1/89. It went public in 10/13/71. I hope that answers your question.
