You can remove it, run the screw out all the way; then use Brake Fluid Cleaner to attempt to clean the plunger - do NOT spray it into the motor control only use an Electronic Cleaner for that section. Be sure and run the screw back in before you put it back on (it will idle bad for a while until the computer resets it) - and this will only work to 'fix' the problem caused by the IAC in about 1 out of 100 cases.
Do not attempt to sand, polish, or use any form of abrasive on the unit.
Try cleaning or replacing the iac motor/valve, as a guess.
The IAC is located on the throttle body. Simply unplug the dirty IAC and clean or replace the IAC.
IAC sits on the top of the motor.
It has an IAC ( idle air control ) motor on the throttle body.
Unplug the wiring harness from the iac. Using a adjustable or a 1 1/4" wrench remove the iac.
There isn't a separate IAC motor. The electriconic throttle body assembly has a built in motor that opens and closes the throttle plate. The throttle body is not repairable, it must be replaced.
EGR is an excellent place to start, as is the IAC motor and passages. When the motor is running the computer should be setting the idle to around 700 or so, although it can only bring the idle UP, it cannot lower it past the minimum as determined by the setting on the TB. If the IAC (Idle Air Control) motor is not functioning, or clogged up the idle will be erratic and the vehicle can sometimes stall. Personally I would pull the TB and clean the SNOT out of it, and clean the pintle on the IAC at the same time. I would also clean the EGR valve and passages at the same time. If the truck still idles low then I would go through the process of setting the minimum idle manually.
if you mean iac motor, it is located on the upper intake at the throttle body. if you mean iac motor, it is located on the upper intake at the throttle body.
no, that's good. If it doesn't die, then you're in trouble. You need to clean or replace your IAC
no have , per wiring diagram. There is no IAC motor for this engine and I suspect you have an error code

it is locatated to at the right side rear of motor, next to the throttle body and the IAC valve, and tps sensor.
