Front Brakes I can answer: Loosen the steel lug nuts for both front tires Properly jack the car up putting jackstands underneath Remove tires There will be two hex bolts holding the caliper together and two slightly larger hex bolts holding the caliper to the suspension. I usually remove the smaller bolts holding the caliper together. These are actually the slide pins for the caliper and removing them gives me access to lubricate them with brake grease. Pull out the pins, and remove the section of caliper wrapping over the disc rotor. Pull out the old pads Losen the filler cap on the brake fluid container Use a C-clamp and one of the old pads to compress the brake piston back into the caliper. Or use a special tool made to compress the piston back in. (mine cost $5 from autozone) lubricate the slide spots and put the new pads in, the pad with the squeal tab goes on the inside. Put the caliper back together and put the slide pins back in and tighten to specified torque. Put the tires back on and lower the car. Tighten the lug nuts to equal torque so the rotor won't warp under heat. Check the brake fluid level and retighten cap.
