The airbag is located inside the black cover in the center of the steering wheel. Same piece you hit to sound the horn and it sperates from the steering wheel. Once that piece is off, Im not sure how to take the airbag out, as I only replaced my steering wheel. But, to get this piece off, there are two bolts on the backside of the steering wheel. Pop the hole covers off with a flathead screwdriver and remove bolts. Disconnect the wiring harnessess and the center piece is out. I hope this helps or, at the very least, gives you a place to start.

remove the four screws that come from the backside of the steering wheel this should allow you to remove the center part be careful with the air bag connection* Disconnect the battery for thirty minutes to discharge the airbag capacitor before removing the airbag. Wear protective eyewear. Hold the airbag with the cover aimed away from you. Do not mess with the airbag electrical connections while it is disconnected.
You may want to bring this to a dealer....or if you feel ok with the disassembly, unhook your battery, and wait at least 10 minutes for the capacitor to discharge so the bag, or bags wont deploy...then from the rear of the steering wheel, remove the screws, and unhook the airbag..please remember, this can be dangerous, and caution is advised...with the utmost care...Johnny
