The wiper motor is located on the firewall on the passenger side. Basically if you could reach thru the glove box you would fin it on the other side. There are 4 bolts holding it to the firewall. Unhook the wiring harness and undo the 4 bolts. It is connected to the wiper assembly on the other side of the firewall. To access this you must remove the black plastic piece at the base of the windshield. The one that the wiper blades emerge from. There isa single nut you must remove to release the motor from the linkage. You may have to tap the linkage with a hammerand screwdriver to get it off of the motor. That is all.

Connect the wiper linkage to the windshield wiper motor and install the retaining bolt. Tighten the bolts to 14 ft. lbs. (20 Nm). 11. Place the wiper motor (module assembly) in position and install 3 retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 6 ft. lbs. (9Nm). 12. Install the electrical hardness connector to the windshield wiper motor. 13. Connect the negative battery cable. 14. Allow the windshield wiper motor to cycle several times while checking for proper wiper motor operation. 15. Turn the windshield wiper motor to the OFFposition to park the wiper motor in the park position. 16. Install the cowl top vent panels. 17. Install the wiper arm and blade assemblies. Install the retaining nuts and tighten to 22-29 ft. lbs. (30-40 Nm). 18. Connect the negative battery cable. 19. Check the windshield wiper motor for proper operation and the wiper arms for adjustment.

the wiper motor is mounted on the outside of the firewall, on the top-passenger side. you will need to pinch off each side of the electrical connector to release the latch and pull on the connector to remove it. The motor is attached with four 10mm bolts. Remove the bolts to free the motor from the firewall. the motor mechanism is attached to the wiper pivot rod and needs to be detached with a pair of needle nose pliers. you will need to pivot the wiper slightly to get better access to the fastening nipple. gently slide the pliers between the motor arm and the pivot rod while applying a slight prying force. It will pop out of place. To reinstall, use a channel lock type of plier and apply only as much force as necessary to the nipple/pivot rod to replace the knuckle in the boot.
